The lads had a fantastic time, superb organisation, treated like Royalty from start to finish by Vin & Fred of JDO and promoter Nunu. Thanks to everyone involved - sound crew, light crew and the brilliant audience!!

Well Y'all,

2007 was quite a hectic year for the boys, with a few high profile gigs, including headline spots. Of particular note were The Boardwalk, Sheffield, a great gig at a great venue, superb backstage area and the staff look after you 100%. Hopefully to be repeated in 2008!!

Bootfest with T Rex and Saxon-a windy affair on a hilltop, but fun and the lads are always happy to help out the intrepid Les of The Boot and Shoe in Ackworth, who puts his heart and soul into organising these events.

Clarence Park Festival- good crowd and great support, the sun shone sporadically which is always a bonus. Thanks as usual to Wakefield Music Collective for their tireless work in the background of this free festival.

The Springhead in Hull is an excellent venue, renowned for touring tribute acts.

No 10 Dickens Bar in Rotherham-well great set of people but the lads hit the week of the infamous floods, with a reservoir poised to overflow nearby. Audience consisted of anyone with a boat and a couple of inebriated pike, but the organisers were great people and the lads hope to go back in better times-global warming permitting!

The Gasworks Bar in Bradford is a great venue, full of character and characters. Having done a spot earlier in the year in their guise as Dr Blue, opening for the manic CARVIN JONES, they enjoyed going back as headliners with ZZ Eliminator.

The Peaks Booze and Blooze Festival, Derbyshire-a stunning festival in idyllic surroundings, lubricated by real ale you can cut with a knife. ZZ got the coveted Saturday headline spot, immaculately supported by THE HEAT. Sunday featured The Climax Blues Band in their other guise as GRAVY TRAIN, with guitarist Lester Hunt fronting. Great weekend!

The New Roscoe in Leeds is another favourite venue, which they play regularly, although the gig on the first day Smoking Ban  was a bit fraught!

The lads finished the year with their traditional Boxing Night Boogie at The Boot and Shoe in Ackworth, having gone through 2 sets of beards and 10 pots of glue, not to mention the leopards...

The intensive rehearsing and gigging for ZZ Eliminator meant that Dr Blue had to go on the back burner, still gigging but longing, nay yearning, to revamp the old set. Hence and forthwith, ZZ are currently having a well earned rest while Dr Blue rehearse and gradually introduce the new songs.

Not for long though! ZZ Eliminator are back with a vengeance in April, starting with a venue they are really looking forward to playing... Hark to Towler in Bury, Lancashire. Check out the link in the friends section-this place has got sunken chests full of character...

That's it, hope you all had a good Christmas, and look forward to an even better year in 2008.
