The compilation album "Dreaming Angels" is available now on MusicZeit. Please, click on the artwork below to get to the download site directly.

The release of "Dreaming Angels" will be a warm-up for a soon to be released album, which will hopefully be finished soon. More about this new album will follow shortly, of course. But first, let's enjoy "Dreaming Angels".

As you might have read before, "Dreaming Angels" is a compilation of my work that's been recorded between 1989 and 2007. Some tracks on this album, such as 'Bahnhoff Zoo' are not planned to be released on any other future release so far.

I believe "Dreaming Angels" is a nice introduction of my musical personality and experiences. It covers 20 years of my works, and it's just a tip of the iceberg of what's more to come next.

My first project from 1989 "Almery" has been restored and remastered from the first generation audio source, and is now available on CD as well as a download version (both MP3 as FLAC file versions) on MusicZeit. It will be the first in a series of restored earlier works, as well as new material.

"Almery" was finished late 1989 and has been available on audio cassette during the early nineties. While it has now nearly reached it's 20th anniversary, I feel it's time to have "Almery" released into the digital world, hopefully for everyone to enjoy.

"Almery" is now available both as a download version on MusicZeit, as well as on CD(R). Clicking on the artwork above will lead you to the download plaftorm. If you prefer the CD version, please check my website at here for information on how to order.

"Almery", my first project which dates from 1989, will be released on two different formats. The first format will be only a matter of hours to become available for everyone.

So, just hold on and keep posted for the great news, which is soon to come...

Next Saturday, November 15th, the Tangerine Dream Fans Zone radio show will feature a Studio35D track again. Chris Newman has selected one of my tracks to open his show with. Again, it will be an old track, but I can promise you, it will be very special. Not less than 13 minutes will be aired of one of the Almery tracks. Which is already quite unique, as not many people have got the chance to hear these tracks so far.

So please allow me to invite you to listen to next Saturday's TDFZ show and I'm sure you're going to love it.

Click on the image below for more information about the show. Or click here to go to the actual show, to which you can listen to as an audio stream, download for free, or even better, subscribe to in your favorite podcast player, such as iTunes.

OK, I think this might become a bit of a habit, although I'm quite pleased and honoured to be featured on the TDFZ show. However, please stay tuned, as tracks will most likely to be aired elsewhere soon.

Current mood:  hyper

I hope it's not starting to annoy you, but the news is that again another track by Studio35D will feature on next Saturday's Tangerine Dream Fans Zone radio show. This time, I think the track will be a surprise for most, as although it is yet again an old track, there aren't many people around who have ever been able to hear it. At least for me, it is a very special track, which I have recently rediscovered from my archives, and mixed again from the original 4-track tapes. More about the track will follow shortly.

Please tune in into the regular TDFZ Radio Show , which you can either download, stream or receive it automatically on your favorite podcast receiver for free. The shows are 'broadcasted' at around noon each Saturday.

Current mood:  nostalgic
The MySpace Mediaplayer now contains a track from the 'Almery' project, the first ever album by me. Almery was a project inspired by both fantasy and daily life. As we encounter many influcences from our enviroment, I guess it is never wrong to fantasize about it and create a different world that only the individual will experience. But to translate this fantasy into a real life experience, it sometimes helps to use music. In this fantasy journy of Almery, sounds, smells, colors, all sorts of perceptions of daily life are converted into a musical experience.

The recording was done with two cassette decks and without the aid of any midi computer. Only the synths' internal sequencers were used for the rythmic parts. The main instrument on Almery was the wonderful Elka Synthex. The bass part of "The Flight of the Pryrodactyl" was the SCI Pro-One, triggered by the DDD1 drumcomputer. A layer of several sequences was done by both the Elka Synthex and the Korg Mono/Poly (either by the internal arpeggiator, or the Roland CSQ-600 sequencer).

A number of tracks were aired on the the Belgium national radio station BRT2-Radio during early 1990, including the track "The Flight of the Ptyrodactyl", which you can hear on the MySpace mediaplayer.

Almery was recorded during 1989 in Krimpen aan den IJssel, The Netherlands and was released on a audio cassette. Many thanks to Mark Guntlisbergen for his ideas, inspiration and support. Also thanks to Emile Brugman for his help on the cover art design.

Current mood:  energetic
Some more tracks have been added to the player. These include tracks that have been recorded during the early nineties.

"Alaska Part 4" is an excerpt from a longer piece (+30 minutes), called "Alaska", and is probably the most mysterious part of this piece. This one was recorded in early 1993. Since then it has never been released so far.

"Berlin Dreams Part 2" also comes from another long track (+25 minutes) and was recorded somewhere in 1991. From this piece, "Whistler Mountain" is an excerpt as well.

Both "Berlin Dreams" and "Alaska" were influenced by the different moods I was in during that time. I guess making music is a reflection of your mood during the composing process. I must have been in a great mood making these pieces, as I have never created such lengthy tracks ever again.

Current mood:  nostalgic
During 1992, I have been recording some quite interesting tracks. However, nothing has been released so far, and I think it is time to get it into the open.

In the audio-player, you can already find an excerpt of one of these tracks, which I have called Whistler Mountain. This is still a working title so far (this is the first time in all thos years I have been thinking of giving these old tracks names, instead of just some numbers). This track is an excerpt of a longer piece, that has a duration of about 25 minutes.

The music is very much inspired by the German electronic rock music scene of the early eighties. Therefor, the complete track will probably be called 'Berlin Dreams'.

I am not sure if any of this music will become available. However, I am planning to upload more excerpts from different pieces that I created during this period of the early ninetees.
