Whilst Exodus is still relatively new, we've begun working on our next studio album.  This newest outrage is currently named Justify !
My idea for this concept piece follows the notion that if one has to justify anything in one's life, there's probably sumpin' wrong with it.
From this simple notion, we're extrapolating and developing songs about our favorite bad things in this world, such as criticism, war, dishonesty etc.
Yes, one more prog album !

Aside from Oncle Bob, only a few hundred people have been asking the burning question... where is Exodus ???

The answer is...

we’re back to mixing the disc.  We took a short break around Christmas time to finish up our song for the Inferno project (www.colossus.fi), which as it happens will probably be the first released piece by this line-up of NM.

so... yeah, we’re back to mixing and living, and everytime I load up a song to mix, I smile evilly at what I hear.

This journey has been a long and strange one indeed, but a thoroughly satisfying one also.  We’re all looking forward to the next one already... but, gotta finish this one first !

Current mood:  mischievous

Performing at the FMPM was, to put it simply, a jolly good deal of fun !

The new material (from Exodus) was very well received, we thought.  It's always a bit risky to present unfamiliar material to the audience, but given that this was our first time in Montreal, I figured most of the songs would be new to the audience.

Either way, it went really well, as documented by our personal videographer Chuck Ho, who managed to shoot the whole trip and performance.

Also part of the team was my good friend and biographer Michael McCormack, who drove up from Louisiana, and who assumed merch table duties for the whole weekend.

Now, we're back head-deep in Exodus, and we're all permasmiled, because this will truly be our best album ever... the mood is right, the sound is right, the players are jacked and the time is now.
