let me start out by saying this.  the definition of that word has evaded my ignorant self for many years.  now that i have gotten that out of the way..... (some of you are grinning now).
i am now facing the reality that loyalty is nearly dead in our society.  some people are not loyal to their family, their friends, their husbands and wives, their employer, their church, etc. 
my eyes are opening as i grow older and wiser.  i am realizing what loyalty is.  too long we have just worried about "me".  some of us have made it to the next step of
"me and mine".  but how many of us will dare to become loyal to our families again?  our children?  our spouses?  our jobs?  our Savior Jesus Christ?
how nice would it be for us to re-commit ourselves?  it would be really nice.  perfection is a myth.  determination a shadow.  loyalty a rotting carcass.
