Saw a killer Portland, OR band last night in Ashland,
Jonah. A friend of mine grew up with the guys in the band, so we hung out a bit. They were all really cool and gracious--big thanks to lead guitarist Chris Hayes for letting me strum on his gorgeous red Gibson 335! I'm still drooling over that axe
. Thanks also to Chris for talking shop with me about his gear...some guitarists tend to be very secretive about their sound, but not in this case.
