Ov HELL– NEW BAND FROM SHAGRATH AND KING!

Out of Norway's biggest and darkest metal bands rises Ov HELL. This group of Satan’s all-stars has been sharpening their teeth in some of black metal's most influential bands for many years. Known as key figures in bands such as Dimmu Borgir and Gorgoroth, Shagrath and King have come together to bring forward a new chapter in Norwegian black metal history. Ov HELLwill carry on in the same tradition for which King and Shagrath are known, but the collaboration between the two will mark a new era for them both.

Frost, Ice Dale and Teloch have been recruited for the first full-length release.
The album will contain all of the power and blast beats worthy of their evil pedigrees. 
Expect an assault on all false gods and hypocrisy that is of this world today.

"The first Ov HELL release will contain music I've worked on in my Gorgoroth
and God Seed years.  It's been a little hell to actually see this music form into a
band, so the name of the band is quite suitable. Through the first song I got
from Shagrath I knew that he would be the perfect man to join forces with.
He has strong individual qualities and a strong will to power. I am very positive
that when we finish up this album it will be an album that won't sound like anything
we have done before, and with a quality that won't stand back from anything

BORKNAGAR’s upcoming album UNIVERSAL will be lauched for a worldwide release the 22nd.of February 2010 through Indie Recordings.
The album will be released in 4 different formats; regular jewlcase CD, limited digipack including bonus disc, CD BOX with extras and gatefold LP with double vinyl.

BORKNAGAR STUDIO DIARY PART 1 UP ON MYSPACE!

Legendary Borknagar has been working hard in the studio recording their new album “UNIVERSAL” to be released this spring! In the meantime, you can follow the guys in the studio and watch how they put together the album and how it all developed.

This will grant you with a glimpse into the process of making our new album UNIVERSAL and even a small taste of what is about to come. 4 episodes will be launched during this autumn, towards the actual release in early 2010. Praised by both fans and critics across Europe, Milorg showcases a unique sound that fuses dark atmospheric sounds with raw, aggressive rock-infused black metal. Born out of the ashes of the mighty Windir, Vreid is comprised of road-tested veterans that have cut their teeth playing alongside metal giants Enslaved, Unleashed, Marduk, and Pestilence. To accompany the release of Milorg, Vreid are taking their mind-blowing live show to US shores in November as part of Heathenfest with Eluveite, Belphegor, Alestorm, and Kivimetsan Druidi, dates are listed below.   In 2004 Vreid arose from the demise of the legendary Windir. Right away Vreid made an impact on the European metal scene, yet it wasn’t until 2007’s I Krig that the band took it to the next level by incorporating elements of Norwegian folk music and 70’s classic rock, while still keeping their Norwegian metal roots intact. Dubbed as “Black & Roll” by the press, the album got rave reviews and massive European tours with Marduk, Unleashed, Enslaved, and Pestilence soon followed. Even with all of the band’s success, no one was prepared for Vreid’s 2008 album: MILORG. Produced entirely by the band themselves, MILORG is a milestone in Norwegian metal and showcases a sound that’s more mature and atmospheric, while remaining raw and powerful.
