Yes, this is the one you've all been waiting for. 3 years in the making. Okay, 3 years in my spare time. "Work" is a new CD that will finally be released on August 15th, to commemorate what would have been my father's 71st birthday. I think he would be proud of me.
Anyway, the new album features 12 songs all written, produced and performed by me. I play guitar, bass, drums, tape loops and vocals. I wrote all 12 songs. Well, there's one song which I co-wrote with my brother.
Here is the track listing:
01. Serious Delirious (The Coffee Song) 02. Average Joe 03. Bayou On The Moonlight 04. Sweet Song 05. Who Broke All The Crayons 06. Short Matters Order 07. I Can't Seem To Get It Right 08. It Still Pours 09. I'm Wastin' My Time 10. Empire 11. The Clock Is Broken 12. I Can Be A Happy Man
That's it! I'm really looking forward to this release. Isn't it exciting? I'll post artwork and where to order, shortly. Get ready, kids!

This month, I have signed up for February Album Writing Month (http://www.fawm.org). I have to write 14 1/2 songs in the month of February. Approximately one song every two days. This February has 29 days, hence the 1/2 song. Anyway, I have uploaded demos of the first four songs I have written. I hope you enjoy them.

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. I'm still working on my album. It's just taking a long time. I'm doing everything myself: playing all the instruments, singing, writing songs, producing, etc. You get the picture. I've just recently made a rough mono mix of the new recording of my song "Bayou On The Moonlight." I hope ya'll enjoy it. There are more songs on the way. Keep tuning in.

I'm still moving forward with my album. I have been working on various recordings for it. On my album, I will have various comedy bumpers sandwiched in between some of the songs. I have added a rough mix of one of these for your enjoyment. It's entitled "Little Girl I Met In School." I hope you enjoy it.
I have finally come up with an official title for my new album. The new album will be "Revue." I hope everything will work out. Thanks for your continued support.

As I sit here, contemplating my territorial imperative, I realize that the show must go on. Yes, this is interesting. I've become a little discouraged from recording, since my last session. During which, I suffered through nine takes of "Canopys" without making a final master. Whew! That's tough. I'm trying to iron out some sound problems I'm having. I'm still doing analog recordings, but I'm also trying my hand at the new cutting edge digital recording studio, known to the world as Sony Acid Studio. It's a program I have on my computer. I'm still trying to hammer everything out. I will do some more recording this week. I hope to have my new version of "Canopys" available soon. The version currently on my page is a demo I recorded in 1997! It's hard to believe it's been that long. The song is still pretty much the same idea with a few minor lyric changes. I know you will enjoy the new one, when I get it completed. I'm still planning on my new album being out in January. I hope it all works out. I appreciate all of the kind comments and support I've been receiving. Thanks to all.

It's time I gave an update on my recordings. My album is progressing very well. It's sort of a slow process, but I think it will be worth it. I'm about halfway done recording. Then, there will be mixing, editing, etc. I have my brother lined out to mix the album for me. He came over this past weekend and tried a few rough mixes of my songs and they sound awesome! I can't wait.
The new song on my page is "Friday Stuff." The words were written by a friend of mine named Todd Reynolds. It's sort of a departure, since it's a gospel song, but I think it's well worth it. Wonderful words he wrote.
Anyway, if things keep going well, the album will be out in January. Keep watching this space.
