Current mood:  geeky
i've Entered a New World... I'm Tripping Even More Now Than Ever... on the 28th Aug 2009 i Played With My First Electric Trio, Billy Kettle on Drums And Ian Denyur on Bass... it's opened New Dimensions For me Which im Very Thankful For... i've Spent Many Years Studying Life And Music Playing in Bands Solo And Duo's Wondering And Working out Whether it Had Any Worth or Meant Anything in my own Mind... Hmmmmm... Well Now it's Confirming What i Already Believed in,,, That Music For me Has Frontiers That Haven't Been Explored... unless Your The First Human on Mars or The Person That Cures Cancer (Which Should Be the Most Important Human on This Planet And Worshipped by All religions) Then Music is the Only Form For me to Explore, it Allows Exploration Beyond "Personal Growth" as a Human Being... Which Could be Seen as The Same Thing!!

Regardless of Style, Music is Being Made And Will Will keep Developing... its The One of The Most Powerful Forces and Energies That We've invented or Discovered.... it's probably one of The Most Defining Reasons Why Were Here!! (Bold Statement)...But After our Extinction All That Will be Left For Aliens to Explore is our imaginations, And What we Dreamt off... in Scientific Terms it Would Probably Mean us Humans Reacted to Certain Vibrations That Stimulated our Brains in Different Ways From other Life Forms in our Universe (Thats Another Matter)

Theres an unspoken Feeling in Which Music Makes You Feel, That Words Can Never Describe, it Shouldn't be ignored Just Becasue we Can't Define it...

Sorry For That!

Drinking Heavily The Night Before a Gig And Wakening up on a Bench in a Busy Parisian Street at 9am in The Morning Wasn't Really Good Preparation For Playing Live, or Was it?

I Have to Say This Years Tribute Was Made Special With The Presence of Mick Grondhal And Gary Lucas… Both With Their Paths intertwined in Musical History, They Are Beautiful People And Wonderful Musicians!

It Was a Lovely Experience to Have Dinner With Mick Grondhal And Chat About Music And Obviously About Jeff Over a Few Glasses of Red Wine ^^ Mick Was Saying How Impressed They Were When Playing Edinburgh With The Layout And Reception They Received in Scotland! (Ochk I The Noo Jimmy)

Overall The Whole Thing Was Excellent, Met Lots of Talented People From All Over The World, Heard Some Incredible Voices Too! We Don't Have to Worry About Great Singers in The Future There's Plenty of Them ;) Had a Good Blether With Gary Lucas Also, The Guy's a Great Character; Hope to Get Him over to Glasgow Soon.

Thanks For Everything.

At Last i Have Time to Share My Experience of The Jeff Buckley Tribute in Paris ^^.

Firstly, i'm Honoured That i Was Asked to Play And Secondly iv'e Fallen in Love With The Culture And The People Big Time! i Made Some Special Friendships While i Was There.

i Also Experienced How Much Jeff Touched People at a Personal Level... i Learned so Much About Jeff From The Die Hard Fans Which Was interesting, i Knew That Jeff Was One of The Best improvisers Vocally in Western Music And i Firmly Believe That it's This That Connects to Most People (Without Them Knowing Maybe?) And Obviously His (Good Looks) Which isn't jeff's Fault ;)

Now That Ive Played Abroad Iv'e Got The Traveling Bug ^^ Through Music i'm Experiencing Things i Would Not Otherwise... (Like French Cakes)

Thanks To The Colours of Music

I Have Been Put on The Forum under *Suggest an Artist* Which i'm Extremely Thankful For by Jax (Lilacskn) Admin. The Site is a Very Lively Community From What iv'e Seen so Far, Discussing Acts From Past and Present. Here is The Link http://www.jeffbuckleycommunity.com/forums/portal.php

I do Feel Very Honoured to be Associated With The Great Jeff Buckley by Having Some Similarities in The Voice Department, Though There is a Few Who Don't Hear Past This ^^

Just Played The Wickerman Festival Which Was Exceedingly Good Cakes...The Whole Energy of The Place Was Overwhelming, It Was Quite a Spiritual Moment For me When i First Approached The Wickerman i'm Not Sure Why But it Was Like Being Transformed into Another Time When we  Sacrificed to The Gods For Our Whole Existance... Strange i Know, But i Can't Help Reveling in Emotions to The Most Unlikely of Situations Usually Resulting in a Tear or Two ;) *Madness*

Yes T in the Park was Special... i Really Want to Thank Those who Came to see me and for Their Support *Which has a Significant Effect on my Performance* i Wasn't Expecting more than a few Security Guards so i was Pleasantly Surprised, i Thought all the Scottish Bands i Heard Sounded Excellent from the ViP area ;) i'm a bit Pissed off Though that i Missed Ben Harper ;( i'm like a Headless Chicken at times...
