Current mood:  happy
Yeh, this is a little late.  I got my car back on Monday, April 16th.  I'm happy with it.  I think it looks awesome.  I've got nothing but complements,so far.  My wife doesn't like the hood from the inside of the car because it takes up a little bit of view.  It's ok with me though.  All I need now is a set of rims.  I'm about to get a house though, so I don't know how soon they will come.  I've had the car 4 years this past December and it took me this long to get the hood and spoiler.  Plus I want to do some landscaping when I get the house and the small shop I want.  It may be a while.  I'm patient though, I have subframe connectors ready to be installed.  I don't know when I'll get around to that.  It's a work in progress.

As the IROC goes, I've been buying some interior parts here and there.  I had the body man look at it and he said all I'll need to buy is a door, nose, set of T-top seals, and window motors.  Then the interior, which can be piece by piece, and it'll be pretty much done.  Awesome...

Current mood:  cheerful
I bought an 89 Iroc-Z Camaro for $500 bucks.  Good 350 (L98) engine, transmission, and tires.  The only thing it really needs to run well is a tune up and new battery.

The interior is really rough and I need a driver's side door.  There is some surface rust it small spots but I have the stuff to get rid of the rust and prime it.  It's going to look like a dalmaition for a while.  I need to stop the rust though.

It's my tinker toy...

Current mood:  giddy
Well I hit a deer Thursday, Feb. 22nd.  It didn't do that much damage but it did bend the hood and spiderweb the paint.  I took it to GM and they quoted me $881.  The adjustor gave me around 600 bucks.  There was some damage prior to hitting the dear.  I scrubbed the bottom of the nose at a Friendly Mart, and a few other small things.  Anyway, since I was going to have it painted anyway.  I decide to go ahead and hook it up.  I bought a Harwood 2.5" Cowl Induction fiberglass hood.

Suppose to be in Monday, March 5th.  I also bought a SS spoiler.

Awesome, then the hood, spoiler, and nose will be painted.  It's gonna be sweet.
I've also ordered a headliner, since I didn't have one after the T-top conversion, and a set of Subframe Connectors.  Then to finish it off, I'm going to tint the windows and get rims.  I'm leaning toward a set of chrome 18" ZR1 rims.

It's gonna be sweet.
