In religion, folklore, and mythology a demon (or daemon, dæmon, daimon from Greek: δαίμων daimōn) is a supernatural being that is generally described as a malevolent spirit. In Christian terms demons are generally understood as fallen angels, formerly of God. A demon is frequently depicted as a force that may be conjured and insecurely controlled. The "good" demon in recent use is largely a literary device (e.g., Maxwell's demon), though references to good demons can be found in Hesiod and Shakespeare. [1] In colloquial parlance, to "demonize" a person means to characterize or portray them as evil, or as a source of evil. "Demon" has a number of meanings, all related to the idea of a spirit that inhabited a place, or that accompanied a person. Whether such a daemonwas benevolent or malevolent, the Greek word meant something different from the later medieval notions of 'demon', and scholars debate the time in which first century usage by Jews and Christiansin its original Greek sense became transformed to the later medieval sense. It should be noted that some denominations asserting Christian faith also include, exclusively or otherwise, fallen angels as de facto demons; In most Christian traditions, a fallen angel is an angel that has been exiled or banished from Heaven. Often such banishment is a punishment for disobeying or rebelling against God. The best-known fallen angel is Lucifer. Lucifer is a name frequently given to Satan in Christian belief. This usage stems from a particular interpretation, as a reference to a fallen angel, of a passage in the Bible ( Isaiah 14:3-20) that speaks of someone who is given the name of "Day Star" or "Morning Star" (in Latin, Lucifer) as fallen from heaven. The Greek etymological synonym of Lucifer, φωσφορος ( phosphoros, "light-bearer") [1] [2] is used of the morning star in 2 Peter 1:19and elsewhere with no relation to Satan. But Satan is called Lucifer in many writings later than the Bible, notably in Milton's Paradise Lost(7.131-134, among others), because, according to Milton, Satan was "brighter once amidst the host/Of Angels, than that star the stars among." *****------There is a description in the Book of Revelation12:7-17 of a battle between God's army and Satan's followers, and their subsequent expulsion from Heaven to earth to persecute humans — although this event is related as being foretold and taking place in the future. In Luke 10:18 it is mentioned that a power granted by Jesus to control demons made Satan "fall like lightning from heaven."-----***** Revelation is considered by some to be one of the most controversial and difficult books of the Bible, with many diverse interpretations of the meanings of the various names and events in the account. Protestant founder Martin Lutherat first considered Revelation to be "neither apostolic nor prophetic" and stated that "Christ is neither taught nor known in it", [6] and placed it in his Antilegomena. John Calvin believed the book to be canonical, yet it was the only New Testament book on which he did not write a commentary. [7]The contemporary Roman Catholic Church unequivocally teaches that angels and demons are real personal beings, not just symbolic devices.
The Catholic Church has a cadre of officially sanctioned exorcists which perform many exorcismseach year. The exorcists of the Catholic Church teach that demons attack humans continually but that afflicted persons can be effectively healed and protected either by the formal rite of exorcism, authorized to be performed only by bishops and those they designate, or by prayers of deliverance which any Christian can offer for themselves or others. [21]According to tradition, God then cast God's enemies from Heaven to the abyss, into a newly created prison called Hell, where all God's enemies should be sentenced to an eternal existence of pain and misery. This pain is not all physical; for their crimes, these angels, now called demons, would be deprived of the sight of God, this being the worst possible punishment. An indefinite time later (some biblical scholars believe that the angels fell sometime after the creation of living things), when God created the earth and life, the Adversary and the other demons were allowed to tempt humans or induce them to sin by other means. The first time the Adversary did this was as a serpent in the earthly paradise called the " Garden of Eden" to tempt Eve, who became deceived by Satan's evil trickery. Eve then gave Adam some of the forbidden fruit and both of their eyes were opened to the knowledge of good and evil. There are still others who say that the sin of the angels was pride and disobedience. It seems quite certain that these were the sins that caused Satan's downfall (Ezek. 28). If this be the true view then we are to understand the words, "estate" or "principality" in Deuteronomy 32:8 and Jude 6 ("And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.") as indicating that instead of being satisfied with the dignity once for all assigned to them under the Son of God, they aspired higher. It may well be that Derek is indeed receiving information from spirit entities, but that these are something other than ghostly spirits of the departed. It is also possible that the information being given is a combination of both Derek’s own memory and messages from spirit entities. The Bible speaks about the reality of a spiritual realm inhabited by many supernatural spirit entities: "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Eph. 6:12). The Bible also has a lot to say about exactly what such spirit entities actually are and what their purpose is. Many who are interested in ghosts and hauntings often assume that whenever these spirits speak, the claims that they make about themselves are truthful. Why is such an assumption generally made and rarely ever questioned? Can these spirits be trusted to speak truthfully? Author, Douglas Groothius has observed that even some prominent spiritualist practitioners themselves have recognised the potential of being deceived by untruthful spirits: "Emanuel Swedenborg, the famous seer of the eighteenth century, was well acquainted with the spirit world, having experienced detailed visions recorded later in book form. Nevertheless, he cautioned those courting the spirits: "When spirits begin to speak with a man, he ought to beware that he believes nothing whatever from them; for they say almost anything. Things are fabricated by them, and they lie... they would tell so many lies and indeed with solemn affirmation that a man would be astonished...if a man listens and believes they press on, and deceive, and seduce." (Samuel M. Warren, A Compendium of the Theological Writings of Emmanuel Swedenborg (New York: Swedenborg Foundation, 1977, p. 618. As quoted in Douglas Groothuis, Revealing the New Age Jesus, p. 210.)
"He [the Devil] was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies." (John 8:44)
"...for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light." (2 Cor. 11:14, emphasis added) The Bible explicitly forbids attempted contact with spirits that pretend to be spirits of the dead (Deuteronomy 18:11). The Bible states that the dead do not have contact with the living (Luke 16:19-31). The reason for this is because such spirits are not spirits of the dead but rather deceitful spirits under the command of Satan. The Bible calls such spirits "demons", "evil spirits", and "unclean spirits". These demonic spirits are familiar with the departed dead whom they seek to imitate. This is why they are able to supply people with intimate details of names, places, and facts. Indeed, Isaiah 29:4 calls such a spirit a "familiar spirit" (KJV). The bigger plan of demonic spirits is to draw people to become interested in their activity and the signs and wonders they perform. In doing so, they successfully blind people and influence them further away from a relationship with God. It is no accident, or coincidence, that many people who become interested in ghosts and the paranormal will often be led to go on to experiment with other spiritualities such as: tarot cards, astrology, fortune telling and so on. Even Derek Acorah’s own website promotes some of these spiritualities. From these, some people continue their quest for spirituality by going on to deeper and darker forms of occultism. It is a slippery slope downwards (rather than upwards, as people seem to think). This was certainly my own experience prior to becoming a Christian myself, as it has been the experience of many others like me. It is a very subtle and gradual process. Before a person realises what is happening, they are immersed in occult practices and are influenced by the same sprits to become hostile or indifferent to Christ and Christianity. The Bible states that Satan has... "...blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Cor. 4:4). The good news is that people do not have to remain blinded in the darkness. The Bible tells us that we can come into a relationship with Christ who is "the light of the world" (John 8:12) and be free from the fear and control of dark supernatural forces. ***As for more reference, Read this forum and start from the beginning... http://www.topix.com/forum/religion/christian/TC2GNCQGR5U9COFS6 *** "And I summoned again to stand before me Beelzeboul, the prince of demons, and I sat him down on a raised seat of honour, and said to him: "Why art thou alone, prince of the demons?" And he said to me: "Because I alone am left of the angels of heaven that came down. For I was first angel in the first heaven, being entitled Beelzeboul. And now I control all who are bound in Tartarus . . . " I Solomon said unto him: "Beelzeboul, what is thy employment?" And he answered me: "I destroy kings. I ally myself with foreign tyrants. And my own demons I set on to men, in order that the latter may believe in them and be lost. And the chosen servants of God, priests and faithful men, I excite unto desires for wicked sins, and evil heresies, and lawless deeds; and they obey me, and I bear them on to destruction. And I inspire men with envy, and murder, and for wars and sodomy, and other evil things. And I will destroy the world . . . " ........ .. ....window.google_render_ad();..
| .. I said to him: "Tell me by what angel thou art frustrated." And he answered: "By the holy and precious name of the Almighty God, called by the Hebrews by a row of numbers, of which the sum is 644, and among the Greeks it is Emmanuel. And if one of the Romans adjure me by the name of the power Eleêth, I disappear at once." -- Testament of Solomon, first century AD, translated by F. C. Coynbeare Although the concept of this evil entity is very old, the use of the word "demon" isn't. The word actually derives from a Greek word "daio", meaning "to come between" or "Lesser than the Gods, greater than Man." The early Semitic culture mentions the existence of "Genii" and even the later and relatively enlightened cultures of Greece and ancient Rome recognized the existence of "evil spirits" possessing the abilities to manipulate Man and in some cases, confront Man in a physical manner. A disciple of Plato named Apuleuis warned his own students of demons, not as a philosophical ideal, but a "living force invading and corrupting the domain of Man." From Africa to the Siberian tundra, shaman have taught that "spirits" walk among us, some with tutorial intentions, seeking only to teach, protect and guide us, while others sought only to sew dissension and strife.
This is all I can find for now, a good starting point....just recently, my life is back at rock bottom, and hopefully soon, I can find more hope in this, and find a way to put it all back together. Right now, I am hiding, I need my time from people. Support and pray for me, help me set my life back on the track im supposed to be on.

Humanity...a perceptional boud between heaven and hell. A prerequisite judgement ground. Thus, earth acts a battleground. Where demon and angels battle, and the spirits sit along the sidelines. Sometimes, a spirit plays an indirect role of either an angel or demon, but the influence on a spirit is much like that of a human. If the demons enrage the spirit, the spirit will help the angels with regaurds of revenge. Very much so for the angels as well.much like with human wars on this planet. If an allied team can win the hearts of an enemy civilization, the people will go with the allied force. Humanity looks for hope, a home, and a place to live happily. Who so ever brings forth the best words, and the best inspiation, that will be the leader that stands the strongest. As a spirit, and a human, I have been swayed to do what I felt I needed to. Both, demons and angels (not the angels such as in my angels ballad), both have angered me before...and I have taken the actions that I deemed right. I do not regret the actions though, for they define me as a human, and also define me as a spirit. Very single action we make on this eart will be recorded. Not exacly for a particular side though...it isn't like the book in heaven where your reviewed on everything. Every human life if the book of events that have come and passed. If I chose not to eat today, I would be hungry. Cause and effect. Yet, if I chose to murder someone, my consequences wpuld be on a more grand scale, and hence, circumstance will also play a major role. Someone honks their horn and I fly off the handle, pull a gun, and kill them. I just commited an unjust murder. But let's say, I'm at home with my wife and kids. I hear the front door get kicked in, so I go for the the gun hidded on top of the cabinets and shoot an armed man that invaded my house. That, is in my books, as a just act. Especually if I were married with kids. I am defending myself and my home, my wife, my kids as well. Now...go back to the unjust murder. A man honking his horn. That is impatience. Maybe this man had some bad issues with things, and the one day he started up his rage issues, he paid the ultimate price for it. And even to the man breaking into my house. What if he wasn't poor, but enjoyed the rush of the crime...and he chose the wrong house to break in to. The effects of humanity, even to just one human, make ripples like a rock dropping in a lake. Everything you do is recorded, and everything you do to another person will last forever. Everything has a butterfly effect to it all. Well, I guess that's my input for things today.
Well, scool is well and I'm doing good as well. Thankyou for reading! Please comment on any thoughts or oppinions.

I awaken. After establishing a camp, I had laid myself to rest. The affliction had hence guided me into the canyon, and now that I sit, I find myself trapped within a grim place. Here lies the land of heaven and hell. I have not quite made it to the realm of the humans, but I have set myself upon the afterlife of humanity. Here, I will encounter my judgment.I dismantle camp, and walk forward into the dust of death. I stand subtly as deaths hand reaches for me. As the creature revealed himself to me, he realized I was both living and dead, a half breed. "Tell me, have you killed?" He speaks. "Tell me," I snap back, "physically or through human psyke?" The creature casts a glare. "Have you commenced forth a sin that beholds you in the wrongdoing of the higher power?" I smile... "I have many times, but I serve the higher power, as well as keeping dark arts hidden behing the clothing I bear before you now." He glares once again. "Being composed of demon, and upholding spiritual law...interesting...in your case." I stand idle, looking down on the earth, watching new souls rising above the clouds. "So you are a true half breed? I can see both sets of wings...both ornaments...and both marks upon your body." I look into the eyes of this creature. "Now tell me this, how come your wings of purity have never tasted the breath of air? How come the wings of a demon been sprouted many more times?" I give the creature a forward recollection that even he had forgotten."How,death, may you ask me a question such as this. Watch these humans, who find it much easier to sin than to be considerate. Why is that? It is because the works of evil, which are stronger than works of good." The creature smiles. "You are good,I shall take you to council" the visual before me, above the earth has now vanished and now I stand in a room of darkness. I soon hear voices, silent murmors, and existance close by. "Half breed, stand as though your life depended on it!" I keep my stance, without intimidation. "Why do you do this, half breed?" The voice resonates through this alternate universe. "I fear not death, but life." The room sat silent. "Who are you?" The voice asks. "I am me, and the perception of myself in others." "Is this why you deem yourself half breed?" "No, I deem myself half breed for It is the name that you have given me." "I see..." Another voice, more higher pitched and sinister comein."So tell us half breed, what is your wish for going to earth..." I stand paused. Why was it? By now, my reward was lost, and the journey so long that I have already forgotten the motive. I stood, blank, unable to satisfy his questionable ear. "Oh? Have you forgotten your path?" "Yes" I reply. "I was ordered to do so by the higher power, so I have done so...but then again...why do I want to go back...?

I awaken,
The clouds red, and my eyes scorned by soot that had fallen from the skies. I sit up, and there stood the demon, smiling in grimmace. I look towards the female demon, and hold out my hand as if to request a helping hand. She stands idle, yet discontinues her putrid smile of hate. The demon walks over and glares at me, holding forth her hand and grabbing onto mine. I lift myself up, and then prop myself on my blade. The demon smiled."Warrior, from whom hast thou received blight?" I look at the demon, for it is the first time it had spoken to me. "From where do you hail, and to where do you continue?" I stand idle, then reply. "Sands of time sift through many different glasses. The spirtins have awakend a task, and I will follow obidiently. For the reward has been lost, and I now do so in honor." The demon laughs at me and walks away. I had fallen asleep on the riverside, and an angel had slept close by, but she had left, taking my shelter with her, she now uses it on the other side of the river. I look downstream, and there stood an affliction. I leaned off my blade and took steps toward it. I look around, and the valley walls stand high. Downstream is the only way to step from this landscape cage. I approach the affliction, and it radiated will. "So thou are the one that has touched the demon.tell me warrior, for what perception did you do this?" I reply to the afflicion, "we are all one when the hemisphere of the astral plain of humanity and conjuration cross." The affliction nods his head and reaches out his hand to my blade.I hold the blade to his face. "If you remove my only defence, how do you believe me to carry the task at hand?" The affliction then replied, "from where do you find you justification?" I reply,"from the ascention, from the powers greater than I, and from the creature that seeks refuge within my own cage." The affliction the turns his back to me, and begins to move away."Take heed, warrior of the half-breed, for the lands that you seek, and the path that has been laid out before you will be long and enduring. Your past lies in ruin, but the future will glow of radiance and success. Make your way through this world, and become powerful." The affliction the holds out an amulet made from demascus. "The many imperfections of this metal are what make it so strong. Wear this neclace, and live your journey like it, being in remembrance of yourself, and of this river." I take it an place it around my neck, then I move on. I begin to walk and the affliction stands, watching me until I move out of sight.
Angels ballad, end.

Chapter Two - Revelation Nicole and I are standing at the guard rail of the overview. Vince is sitting in his car with a rag doing some minor cleaning. She is just staring out across the little town, to the south mountain taking in the view. As for myself, I am replaying the little race over and over in my head. That race was so much fun, I just want to ditch this and go race over and over. As I am thinking, I feel Nicole's arm slip in between my arm and torso. She locks her fingers so I can't escape like I did the hug… "It's so pretty up here isn't it?" I look at her face, which is completely stricken by the view. "It is pretty nice up here. I have only been here a few times." She looks up at me. "Really? What were you doing?" I stare down at the town. "Nothing really. The first time was moving out here. The second time was going to the next city to pick up my car. Vince went with me on that trip." She keeps looking up at me. "You drove 200 miles just to get your car?" I nodded my head. "It's a love of mine. It was the perfect car for me, so I did whatever I needed to in order to get it." She smiles and clutches my arm a little tighter. "That is great that you would go that far for something you love." She seems to be blushing a little, probably due to the shot of a little romance fantasy in her head. I start to blush a little too, feeling her breast pushing against my arm. We stand there for a little, just looking and being in our own worlds. I look out to East Peak, seeing the little houses towards the base. I glare down at the town, and then out to the river flowing at the base of South Mountain. Despite I'm with a girl full of fantasies, it really is nice having someone here. It gives life to the already great scenery. It's currently summer here, so it is warm, but the elevation delivers a nice cool breeze. My hair flicks a little here and there from the light current. I feel Nicole lean her head against my shoulder. She seems to be just the right height. I stand at five-seven, so she must be five-three. I think I may be making a mistake by doing this today…it already seems like she's getting too comfortable with this. "So was there anything you wanted to do up here?" I ask to break my thoughts. She turns her head and looks up at me. "Not really, I just wanted to see the scenery…is that ok?" She asks with an awkward sense of care. I smile some, "That is just fine." I just stand there and take in the scenery. I then feel my phone vibrate. I open it up and it was a text from Vince. "Stop cuddling and hurry it up!" He exclaims. Nicole unlatches from my arm and stands idle. I take it she read the text too. I close the phone. "I'm not interrupting anything am I?" She asked. "No, Vince is just antsy because he got his car running today." She turns with a cute smile. "I think I heard about it from one of his friends in school today. We can go see what he wants to do. We have already done what I want to do." Yeah, cuddle and stare at stuff, I jokingly thought in my head. "If that's ok with you, we will go see." I say to her. I turn and start walking to Vince in his car; she followed me closely. "Vince, where do you want to go?" He smiles. "I want to go down the mountain." I feel anticipation in my gut, as I grin and move to the driver door of my car. Vince cranks up his car and gives it a good rev. I crank up my car and tap the throttle. He whips his car out of the parking lot and floors it as I am backing out. Man, Vince is just jumping head starts on me all over the place today. I notice Nicole hastily slaps the harness on. "You did that fast enough to be a professional racer!" I say with a laugh. "I just know you're in a hurry and I don't want to slow you up." She says back. I throw the car into first and lay on it thick, squealing my tires as I fly into the first right corner. I brake hard as I go into the next Turn…. I laugh, as Vince has left me in his dust. It is quite apparent he has built that car into a demon. I catch up to him at the bottom of the mountain and look over at Nicole. She sits in an almost disbelief. I smile and lean my head to her. "Are you going to be alright?" I ask. "Yes! This is so much fun, I actually almost can't wait to get my first car so I can do it." She sits back up in her seat, from sucking down into it, and smiles as she readjusts her seatbelt. "You really enjoyed it that much?" I ask. "Uh-huh, it was a blast. It's very fun and way better than a roller coaster!" I smile at her attitude, "So have you always been a fan of cars?" She gives me a little smile then turns her head away. "Actually, yeah. I just never show it because other girls might think I'm weird. It's a man's sport. They would make fun of me and it would just feel really weird for me." I look over at her and speak in a little stronger tone. "Well in order to live happily you need to be yourself." She looked up to me and smiled. We made it back to Harristown and pulled into the gas station I worked at. Nicole and I had parked at the front of the store section as Vince had parked in front of the Garage door. This is Center Market, even though it is on the edge of town. It's the only gas station here, but it also serves as a small convenience store and a garage to do routine maintenance and repairs. Vince has already jumped from his car and started to brag about winning twice. That is where Eli came outside the Garage. He had just changed into his jumpsuit and out of his school dress. He's black, tall and younger than me. He comes out smiling like he usually does. "So you finally got that thing finished huh?" Vince snaps back, "And I finally whooped my brother's ass!" I laugh and move to the conversation. "Well if we are racing the mountain, I can tell you your turbo will lay waste to those back tires you have there. You were sliding and burning out the entire time." Eli laughs and looks to me. "That is a strong counter to the turbo; you can't just lay on it." He then looks to Vince. "You have built up a monster of a car, now ya just have to tame it." Vince smiles, "Well Josh, you too have a monster to tame….Me." I smirk, "I'll lay waste to you in time, if we are really gonna be stepping it up, then it looks like it's time to step up my 240 a little bit." Nicole slowly moves into the conversation. "I think it shouldn't be about power at all…" I look over to her and smile. She continues, "I noticed that Vince was all over the road, but Josh kept a good pace and wasn't sliding around everywhere." Eli starts to laugh a little, "Now josh, who is this girl and where has she been hiding." I smile a little bit… "Well this is Nicole, the girl that I have mentioned to you a few times." Eli gives me a little bit of a blank stare, and then raises his brow. "Well she isn't the girl I had expected, she already knows some key factors about track racing." We all went into the diner part of the store, the only part that hasn't been mentioned so far. Once in the diner, we all took seats and sat there. The waitress, her name is Naomii, took our orders. I just got something to drink as Eli got a small lunch to eat before clocking into work. Nicole ordered a chocolate malt and Vince went without eating. I paid for Nicole's drink as well as mine. "So how long have you been into cars?" I asked to Nicole. She stops slurping on her malt and looks at me and smiles. "Actually for a couple years, I started noticing some cars around here and wanted to make my own like that." I smile, "Well I'll help you with that. I have rebuilt my car on my own and learned a lot just by doing that." She tilts her head and takes a quick slurp from her malt, "That would be awesome!" Eli gets up from the table after quickly eating his lunch. "Come out to the garage for a moment, wanna show you something." Vince smiles a weird smile. "I'll watch your girl for you." I get up from the table and go with Eli. We go out to the garage and we stand in the door way. He pulls a pack of cigarettes from his pockets and hands me one. I take it and place it in my mouth, then light it. "So that girl in there, that is the stalker one?" I turn my head and nod. "She really doesn't seem so bad. I'm a little surprised too, that's the first girl you seem to get along with." I smile a little. "You really think so? I haven't really noticed it." He glares over at me and simply says, "When you don't notice it, that is when you know you have a good catch. You just have to feel….natural." I nod my head, "So you really notice it?" I asked. "Of course, or else I wouldn't have dragged you out here." I sit and think about it so far, maybe she has grown up a little bit over the last few months. "Ya know, just because she has liked you for a long time, doesn't mean you have to feel so obligated to do the same." I nod my head, "Your right, I do just want to make sure I'm not doing it just because of today." He smiles some, "It's best not to wait too long. It is a great thing that you have someone that likes you this much. You should take advantage of it, besides; she is a very cute girl…if you don't want her I'll take her!" He jokingly laughs. "So you have liked my brother for a while huh?" Vince asks Nicole. She blushed a little and nods her head. "So just what about him do you like so much? I mean, he hasn't ever really talked to you much." She finished a slurp of her malt and looks up to him. "He has what I'm looking for. Great grades, he is always quiet, he is sophisticated, and he is very attractive. More or less, he is mature. He is also the only guy that seems to not want me for my body." Vince smiles, "So I guess I that is why I never got a note from you after I hit on you that day huh?" She smiles too, "Well I will tell you one thing, going up to a girl and telling her she is an 'object of desire' is not a way to get a girlfriend." Vince smiles back an waves his hand in a brushing manner to her face. "Well I got Andrea that way." He says with a strong sense of accomplishment. She wittingly replies, "So? What guy hasn't gotten her like that?" Vince kinda smiles, but then looks away…"Touché." Was his only reply to her. "So what makes you think you will be the one for him?" He asks. "I don't, I have been trying to get to him. I tried to talk to him when he first caught my eye, and he just kinda…didn't get it. I think the notes may have gotten annoying, but the goal was to keep me on his mind. In a way…I was letting him know I was thinking of him. Today was just impulse, all I really wanted to do was see the mountain, but I think he is actually starting to notice me." Vince smiles, "Well, there is intelligence in that head of yours. I have to hand it to you, you're the first one to crack him like that…I definitely approve of you now!" He laughs at her triumph. "So, Vincient, What is he like at home?" He smiles, "He's the same damn thing at home like he is at school. So neat and organized, taking care of mom and dad…He really is a life saver, I doubt we would still be there if he wasn't around. She tilts her head and asks. "What do you mean?" "Well…" Vince leans in, "Our dad became an alcoholic when we were younger. Mom lived with it for a good while…but it seems as soon as we hit 8th grade, she began getting addicted to some pain medication she had gotten for an accident she had. Not too much longer after that, she started getting more involved with stronger pills and now she is just messed up." Nicole looks with a face of concern, "That's just horrible…I'm sorry you have gone through all that, I never would have guessed it by just looking at you two." Vince shrugs his shoulders. "We are all we have. If we weren't strong we would have just ended up like them. We rely on each other and that is the way it has been since." She nods her head and smiles. "It really is odd, you two are nothing alike and you can be so close." Vince nods his head and agrees. "I believe it is our differences combined that make us such a great team. We pick up where the other lacks." She smiles at the thought of it. "That is the best way to look at it. Vince looks at Nicole with a little bit of an odd glare. "I actually believe that is where you may be able to get close to him. If you think about it, you two are similar and different in many different ways. You're a really….bouncy girl, you talk loud and love to have fun, while he likes to sit and be quiet. But at the same time, you two have the cleanliness and decency. Being neat, keeping secrets to yourself…you two seem like a great match." I go back inside as Eli makes his way to the back of the shop. "Well are you two ready to go?" Nicole nods her head and gets up. Vince smiles, "I will chill out here, maybe I can get that Naomii girl's number!" Nicole leads the way out the door, and I look to Vince as I'm leaving and he is giving a thumbs up to me. I guess that means he approves of her. I move to the passenger side of the car and open the door for Nicole, then closing it for her once she knocked off her shoes and place her feet inside. I move around and climb in, "So I see you remembered," I say with a smile. "It really isn't that hard to forget when you see a spotless carpet like yours." She replies with a smile. As I crank the car, I subtly glare over at her as she brushes her hair behind her ear. She is really cute...She stands about 5 feet, 2 inches. He hair comes down to her jaw and gets shorter as it goes back, and I have to admit it looks great on her. Her freckles just add to the beauty of it all, and the brown eyes that seem to be as deep as the ocean. As far as the dirty bits go, she has roughly a b cup, but it fits her like a glove. I turn my head to her and smile, "You are beautiful…" She smiles and bows her head, as if to hide the red hue that had just been cast over her face. "Thank you..." she replies while smiling and in a soft and almost silent tone. We make out way to her house, which is on the other side of this small town. We get there and her mom steps out onto the porch. Me and Nicole step out of my car and her mom waves to me. "Hi josh! How was the mountain?" I smile and wave back. "It was great; luckily it wasn't so humid today so the view was clear!" I shout back to her. I now see where Nicole gets her energy from; her mom seems to be as energetic as Nicole usually is. She gets off the porch and comes down to the car with me and Nicole. "Wow that is a really nice car! I used to have one, but it was old and used. You seem to have gotten this one right off the lot!" I smile and place my hand on the hood. "You have no idea how much time and work I have put into this car. I have rebuilt it from the ground up all by myself" Her mom smiles, "Well that is just great! It is good to know how to do those things." Her mom nudges at Nicole a little bit, "Yeah, Nicole has been studying them a little bit as well." Nicole blushes a little bit, "Mom!" She says with a little hesitation, but with a smile on her face. "Oh yeah, I was supposed to keep that part a secret!" She laughs. "Well anyways, my name is Kim, so feel free to come inside!" I smile, but then shake my head. "Nah, I have to get some things done around the house today, so I'll be leaving soon." Her mom smiles and nods her head. "Well that's just too bad, but you're welcome over here!" I gave Nicole a hug, but hers was a lot tighter. We both smiled and then she let go. "I'll see you tomorrow!" She says enthusiastic as ever. "I'll see you then." I reply. I smile and climb into the car. For some reason, she dances in my mind now…All I do is see her on my drive back home. Chapter Two - End

Chapter One – Awakened Once again…once again…the sun rises. Once again, I roll over to tap the button on my alarm clock. I don't even have to look anymore. Just as the remembrance rings through my mind, I can flawlessly roll and with the precision of one tap, the alarm is off. Once again, I get up and take a shower. I then proceed to my closet. "Hmmm", the sound emits from the back of my mouth as I glance over the hanging clothes, neatly organized. I pull off a red shirt and some of my khaki cargo pants. After getting myself dressed, I make my bed, layering the sheets in the right order. I grab my backpack and lay it over my shoulder. I then glance over my room and make sure everything is neat, and then I leave my room. Upon exiting the room, the life style difference attacks anyone. The hallway with clothes, the living room with beer cans, and the kitchen with piling dishes; the house is a mess. A drunken, passed out father on the couch doesn't help out much either. I move down the hallway, through the kitchen and the living room, and to another little hallway where a closed door resides. I knock the door lightly, then crack open the door. "Vince!" I say stoutly, "It's time to get up and go to school". Vincient, my brother, rises from the bed. He glares at me, grabs a binder, and then gets up. He is already wearing some black jeans and a white tank top. "Alright…let's go." He says to me as he steps over an assorted mess and as his pupils are still adjusting to the light. I turn around and move past the couch my dad is passed out on; maneuvering past the beer cans scattered on the floor. I glare down at him and stare. "He won't change, you know that." Vince says to me. I look away, and step out of the door. Vince follows me as we move to my car, a 1989 Nissan 240SX. It's black, it's fast, and it's clean. Vince climbs into the passenger seat and I rest myself into the driver side. I turn the key and listen to the purr of the engine. The CD player comes to life playing some rock station that the XM Radio was set on. I move the shifter into reverse and ease out of the driveway. I pull down the street, make a right, and go three blocks down. I make another left and drive south on the main road. Just about a mile and I'm at my school. I just drove the majority of Harristown. This small city rests in somewhat of a crater; mountains surround the city on all sides. All the mountains go by are the coordinal directions they lay. There is a North, West, and South Mountain, towards the east is another section of the south mountain; it's just called East Peak. Towards the base of the mountains are canyons, and then the land is flattened out. After about two miles of flat land, you come to Harristown. Harristown is actually on a plateau, raised above the flats about a thousand feet. The total population is roughly around 400, including children. The closest city is around two hundred miles away. This town is somewhat of a haven, despite the house I live in. Vince and I head into school. Vince parts with me and heads to class early, and grins as he leaves. "It's almost done." He proclaims as he walks away. I move into the cafeteria and head into the breakfast line. The school is small, roughly 100 kids go to this school, so there is enough for the sporadic cliché, but at the same time, it's small enough that we all know what's going on. The school is actually a nice place. The paint looks like its new, and it's always well maintained. I take another step forward and a short child leaps out in front of me. He turns his head up and smiles. "I know you mister." I glare down at him and smile. "Oh really?" I say as he keeps his childish grin. He nods his head and lifts his hand up, giving me a piece of paper. "Nicole told me to give you this." I take the paper and place it in my pocket. The child runs off after snatching a biscuit from the line. If you hadn't guessed yet, there was no point in making separate schools for such a small population. From 4th grade and up, student's go here. Back to what's going on, Nicole is a fan girl you could say…She is the kind of girl that is younger and highly latched on. I have no clue as to why, but she just always has been like this towards me. I get these notes once a week. I'm a little off camber about it though, I usually get them Friday, but it's Monday. It sparks my interest; I get my breakfast and take a seat. I subtly glance over the note. Josh, I know you usually don't listen to these things, but I seriously wish you would. I know I may seem a little clingy, but isn't it a little prejudice to judge me based on this? Please consider this…I want to go up to North Mountain after school, would you take me? You don't have to think of it as a date, because I don't need to think of it as one…I just want to go up and see it, I haven't ever been. I'll be out front after school and if you don't come, I understand…I won't even talk much if you are worried about that. I hope you will think about it. Have fun during your day! NicoleI fold the page back up and place it back into my pocket. This one is a different kind of note; she is actually being somewhat submissive. Instead of talking about how cute I was or the latest rumor…she had a different tone that I can't quite put my finger on. I eat my breakfast as I sit and think. The bell rings soon and I make my way towards class. It's towards the end of school and I get a text on my cell phone. "It's finally done!!! =]" from Vincient. I smile and reply "Sweet." The final bell rings and the class leaves. I wait a few minutes and then I exit the room. I move to my locker where Vince is already waiting. He grins as usual and walks my way. "I think it's time to see what we can do!" Vince says. I smile, "Well we will later tonight. I think I'm going to go up to the mountains in a little bit." He looks at me in a funny manner. "You want to go to the mountains instead of the strip?" I look his way and nod my head. "I'm going up there with Nicole." He pauses for a moment and chuckles a little. "Well…what blackmail has she slapped against you this time?" I stand idle. "None, I think I may actually take a little bit of a chance and get to know her a little is all." Vince glares. "You dumbass, I'm coming with you; me and my Mark III are going to go on a date too!" The Mark III is the 80's model Toyota Supra. Vince just got it not too long ago, and he has been working on it every day in his shop class for the last 2 months. It has a nice old school style to it, and a very nice powerhouse under the hood. He has completely rebuilt and cleaned this car, all while doing engine upgrades and repairs along the way. He repainted it and reupholstered the inside. We both move outside after I put up the unnecessary books for tonight's homework. Vince is smiling like a little kid on his birthday. "I just can't wait, I'm sure it has a good hand against your 240, it has to!" I look over at him and give off a little smirk. "You seem ever so confident, just like you always do." He continues walking, and he glares over at me. "You don't think so, do you…Well we will find out, I'll race you on the way to the mountain, and I'll show you the true power of the Toyota Supra!" We exit the front doors of the school; leave it to Vince to park right in front of the school. He takes off to his car, while I walk down the front entrance. There stands Nicole, just as she always is.
She has short, dark brown hair. Her frame is petite, and her face has a radiant glow to it as her light freckles glisten. She's wearing a light blue spaghetti strap shirt, with a short jean skirt. She turns her head to look at Vince as he ran by, and then caught me out of the corner of her eye. She just looks at me, and then looks down as if she were an abused dog. I didn't like that, because it seems as if I had left a bad impression, and some people have asked me about it before. I rounded a pillar and took subtle steps towards her, and it was as if she had just been handed a dozen roses; she lit up like a sunny day. I moved over to her, and she looked up at me with a bowed head and a smile, she seemed so nervous that it actually made me somewhat nervous. I look down into her glaring brown eyes. "So are we going to go?" I said to her. She lights up, "Yes!" She pulled her cell phone out of her purse and let her mom know that she was going. I took it upon myself to assume that she wasn't expecting to go today. "Yeah, we are actually going! I'm excited. I'll see you later mom, bye!" She said with extreme enthusiasm. She placed her phone in her purse as we had just arrived to my car. I move to the passenger side and open the door for her. She smiled as she took her seat. "Knock your shoes together before you place your feet inside." She gave me some sort of a weird look, then glanced down at her shoes, then rapidly lifted her head up to me and smiled. She clacked her shoes together and placed her feet inside the car. I closed the car door and made my way around to the driver side as Vince zipped around. He revved the Turbo 2JZGTE, and grinned almost as brightly as Nicole was. He had installed a Greddy blow off Valve, and it works very nicely. It gives the car the sound of a tuning monster. "Damn, this isn't a date? You definitely seem to be going all out!" He said as he emitted a chuckle. "I had to make sure she wasn't going to get rocks on the inside." "Sure." He remarked in a sarcastic manner. I open my door, brush off my pants, knock my shoes together and take my seat all in one swift move. I got used to it once I had fixed up my 240. I first got this car when I was 16; it had been in an accident and had also been driven very roughly. Here I am now, 18, and still driving the same car. Well…somewhat the same. Over the last two years, I have completely rebuilt this car from front to back. Along the way I bought a few nice things here and there. Since it had been in an accident, I had to replace the body panels; I bought a nice body kit for it. Nothing over the top, just something that looks a little more stylish than the OEM bumpers and skirts. I also had gotten something that sets the car off. The wheels that were on the car weren't even stock. They looked like wheels that go on U-HAUL trailers. So, I saved up a couple paychecks and bought some 17 inch RO-TA wheels. After that, I pulled out the engine and did a full rebuild. A friend of mine was able to get me a rebuild kit for pretty cheap. On top of the regular rebuild, I also bought a forged racing crankshaft along with forged rods and pistons. 3 paychecks were dropped into the bottom half of the engine. I cleaned up the heads and did a little bit of a port job by myself. It isn't the best work, but it is helping the engine push air through. That is all I have done to the engine so far, besides a header and an APEX-I cold air intake. Over the last year, I have been replacing the interior. As my car sits now, I have black leather seats, black leather dashboard, and thick plush black carpet. I have beige floor mats, along with the center of my leather seats being beige too. I have a nice sound system set up in the hatch of the car. All of my audio components are made by Alpine. The RO-TA Wheels are black, with carbon fiber centers and chrome lips. As for the outside of my car, I have a Metallic black paint job. I have a large Alpine decal on the hatch glass…and I believe that is it so far. I have been working very hard on this car, and that is why I don't ever let a mess come inside of it. I pride myself on what I have done though; Vince, on the other hand, rushed into things. He got his supra just about 5 months ago. He took out a five thousand dollar loan and dropped all of it into his car over the last 2 months. He is in love with his car though, and above anything I believe that is what matters the most. Vince is a year younger than I am; his birthday is only a few weeks after mine. So he has been inspired, in some ways, by what all I have done. I push in the clutch and place my hand on the chrome/leather shift knob. I then move my hand to my dash and press on the ignition button. The car revs to life and I place the car in first. I roll down my windows and open the sunroof. "You lead the way!" Vince emotes as I slowly pull from the parking spot. We pull out onto the main road and head north to the other side of town. Not too long, we are driving down the left and right U-turns that lead down the plateau. We then level out into the Valley. A long straight road lies ahead of us, and Vince takes off. I chuckle, and Nicole just looks over at me. I drop down a gear and lay on the accelerator hard. My car emits a roar as I pick up speed and steady the gap that Vince tried to put on me. We soon come across the River that flows from North Mountain. This marks the end of the "Strip". Vince loves to come out here and drag race with some of the other kids from school. As soon as you cross the bridge, it leads into the winding roads of North Valley, and then you begin the ascent up North Mountain. Vince is a little bit ahead of me, but I can't let him just jump on me like that. I glance over at Nicole as my car continues to speed up. "Reach behind the seat and clip on the harness, and be sure to hold on."

I take the first slow right a little easy, and then push the car into the unexpectedly sharp left U-turn. After I jolted myself into the U-turn I see Nicole hastily snap the harness on. "Is this safe?" She asked me in a semi-concerned manner. "I don't think so, but rest assured I'm not going to put my car through a guardrail." She smiled, "I trust you." After the sharp U-turn, I slammed into the throttle as the car broke traction. My tires squeal as I make my way up the steep incline. The road makes a sharp right, and then a 45 degree left turn. I cut though the other lane on the left turn as I see Vince in his Supra dive into the next right turn. I push into the throttle hard as I break traction again, and fly into the sharp right turn after leaving a trail of smoke down the 100 ft. straightaway. I took the corner almost too fast, I thought to myself as I slam the brakes for another 45 degree left turn. I am closing ground on Vince though, as I see him fly through the 500 ft inclined straight away. His turbo is doing him well. I've already analyzed it. As Vince cut's out of the corner, he can lay on the throttle when his turbo isn't spooled. By time his turbo has spooled, his tires are moving fast enough to lay the boosted horsepower to the ground. My car on the other hand is all motor. I don't have any forced induction yet. When I lay down the throttle, I don't have any lag; my car throws down the power whenever I want. All I have to do is control my throttle…The 500 ft. straight comes to a 90 degree right turn, followed by another 90 degree left turn. I use just the right amount of brakes and cut through the apexes of both corners. I feel the back tires wanting to break traction as I exit the corner, so I lay off the throttle just a little bit, and then ease my foot back into it. The car handled exactly how I wanted it to. I am now gaining ground on Vince; I assume it's because my exit speed was faster than his. Vince's car has about 50 more horsepower than I do, so I have to keep pushing it hard just to keep up with him. I cannot believe the adrenaline rush I am feeling right now. Just the technicality of this race…Drag racing was fun, but I can honestly say I have never felt like this behind the wheel of a car until now. Taking the corners adds such a different kind of strategy to everything. Even though he has more power than me, I am able to keep a good pace and at least hang with him…I never knew these mountains could be so much fun…I have always seen them as a burden, particularly because we are surrounded by them, but now I think I have a new respect for them. After that little S-curve section, there is a 200 ft. straight, and then a break-neck Right U-turn. I slow my car down and ease my car though the U-turn. I made the mistake of getting a little hasty, pushing the gas too soon and breaking traction again. Vince leaves me in a trail of smoke. This is a very easy right bend, but the incline is pretty steep. From what it looks like, He may have broken traction when his turbo spooled up. I see him tap his brakes and his car disappears behind a sharp left turn. I do the same, figuring I could copy his technique and keep my ground. I ease my car into the sharp left, and exit the section through another right bend. I know the view point is here soon, so I give the car a little bit more, trying to close the gap before me and Vince finishes our little race. I continue with my pace, and gain a little ground, but after another left and two rights, we were finished. Vince eases in to the over view parking lot, and I do the same right next to him. Nicole clutches onto my hand, and then unbuckles her harness. We both exit the car. Vince is already standing outside of his car with the biggest grin I have ever seen on him. Nicole sprints around my car and clutches onto me. "I knew I could trust you…That is probably the most fun I have ever had in a car!" I smile, and go ahead and hug her back. "That is exactly what I'm thinking…" I say in a stunned manner. My adrenaline is pumping so hard that my body is shaking. Vince is still smiling… My new addiction has now been awakened…. Current mood: pissed off
Challenge...the word alone can be applied to so many things in so many ways. Right now, my life is a challenge, and many competitors have steped up and made it a difficult task. I haven't opened my eyes to a lot of it, but it is indeed a tough battle that has been handed to me. Much like with my racing...the odds are not in my favor. I'm not powerful enough to get through it, but it isn't always the power. On the mountain, I have beatin cars that could tripple the horsepower my little prelufe can make...it is never about how much power you have, but how you use what you have got. What I have right now in my life is not much, especially with the way some things have been going, but it is all about how I use what I do have. I have to piece the remains of something broken, and pick myself up and use what I have in order to overcome these circumstances. I have to technique and precision to go from the underdog and place myself on the podium. I may not have much at all going for me right now, but dammit if I am going to let that make me forfiet! This is a time of war with myself and I'm not the one who will back down. If I'm going to fight, then I am going to do it as best as I can, and I will turn the little bit that I have left into something amazing. I may have lost something to put my passion into, but I have so much more that I can return the favor to. Just like with my racing, I may not have the power, but I have the technique...I have won races before, now it is time I stepped the fuck up and won at life...it's time I used what I have and turn it into something amazing, and its time I pulled the stops and put the pedal to the floor...

I awaken, the voice spoke clearly to me.
"Ascention is upon you. Spread forth your wings warrior, take flight to a land away from home. May the life you breath flow to another so that it may open the eyes of the unseen. The council has chosen thus event and shall coordinate it with the hands of the spirits."
I sit and stare at the affliction laying before me, and it picked me up from the ground. I smile, and laugh at the challenge before me. "No problem" I plead carelessly, but then the wings I have sprouted before had elipsed and pierced the thin cloth laying upon my back. "No problem" I speak now in a deeper tone. I find myself now back under the clouds of red, with the blade in my hand. The affliction appeared before me once more. "Heed the council that we have handed down to you and take hold of the concepts we speak, for thou has been chosen to take forth a tedious budeon, and thou shalt recieve the blessing you desire for acheiving such a great feat. Your deeds are such comprehended by angels, yet the form and interior motive is such as also. Take this burdeon on behalf of the spirits, and they will surely bless you." I stare more intently at the affliction. "Your dreams have ceased, and your answers come to you at the light of day, do you know why this is warrior?" I nod my head and place my other hand tightly around the handle of the blade made once again of my very own body. "Your spirits have detoured you from something the had once seen as a posable threat, and this has been concieved by them for the fact that yuo have asked them to do so. Upon your request, may you now be blessed with the gifts that thou has asked of me, and of by your companions seeping through from the world beyond the human sight. Step forward into the world and take refuge in the hands of the humans with nothing but the spirits at your side and become a man and a spirit. Become more than just a human, and take hold of what it is that you seek from this life. My you be blessed, and may every step you take radiate the aura that you have fought so hard to acheive." I nod my head and step from the hillside, and into the valley where I walk my path of the river lying there.

Well here I am. North carolina, My own man now. I am out of the house, paying my own bills, soon to be starting school. It is very...intense. I am here with no shoulder to lean on, standing on my own two feet carrying myself through this life. It is pretty tough. My friends, my racing group, even the greatest woman in the world....are all now miles away. It is scary, knowing if I cant do it, I cant do it at all...I must stand and fight in order to make it through this. This next year will be the toughest of my life. Working another stupid job for another year, while I get my education to move forward and attain a job I will love and cherrish. A job that will give me the pay I need to make dreams of mine come true. Me and Zakk are managing well, but we haven't even begun this battle, and we have not ever give the war a glance over yet. I am trying to fit into the groove right now. Trying to see just where I can mimic remnants of what I had in ringgold. Where is my home course now? Where is the garage that I pretty much lived in....but also, where is the man living inside me? The one that will be 100% clean, responsible, and decisive. I am very devoted to this school, and also to Megan....devoted to myself and my friends. I am just to torn in so many different direction right now, I cant get a bearing on what I need to do in order to get where I want to be. These are the things going through my head so far. I am afraid....but I will be stronger than what I have ever been. I love all you guys! Leave me some comments please. I dont have internet at home, so I am here at starbucks being a consumer whore with my frappacuinno sittin next to me. I'll check back in later this week and leave another blog. Later guys.

http://mx.youtube.com/watch?v=wsfApOq25mAwell first of all, don't mind the video, only rip of the song that I could find. So...it's coming up quickly...very quickly. I'll be moving out of this city the 30th of this month. It's definitely going to be a rough time for me. Luckily my friend Zakk is making the move with me. I wont feel so afraid with him going. The whole point of this blog is to say thanks to all my friends. If your a friend here on myspace, you hold a significant value to me. I will only be gone for a year, but if it flies like this last year has, then it won't be too long. All you guys have helped build me into the person I am today. I'm just taking a little step to do what I need to live in a career that I would love to do. I'll still be coming down here to visit every now and then, but it will be a difficult drive from here to NC. I also would like to personally thank my core group. Kris, Zakk, and Chastain. You guys are great, and I love all of you in a completely heterosexual way. All of you could pass as family. So as the song says...When I'm gone, don't fill the space that still belongs to me....if you do, I'd have to find room to squeeze back into when I return =] Till I move, I'll see ya around. Another day away from home, another trip to kill Another place I've never been, another day in hell Another day in a crowded room, another place to bleed Another world that your blind to, that I've already seen [Chorus:] When I'm gone, don't fill the space that still belongs to me When I'm gone.. Say hello for me When I'm gone, think about what all this does to me When I'm gone.. Say hello for me Another piece of me is dead, and I'm afraid of the blind.. Leading the blind until the roads runs out, no matter where it ends Stop! ..where it ends Stop! Was this all for something.. that I give for nothin'? Stop with the fake delivery, stuck in the middle - I'm gone! [Chorus:] When I'm gone, don't fill the space that still belongs to me When I'm gone.. Say hello for me When I'm gone, think about what all this does to me When I'm gone.. Say hello for me When I'm gone, don't fill the space that still belongs to me When I'm gone.. Say hello for me When I'm gone, think about what all this does to me When I'm gone.. Say hello for me When I'm gone, don't fill the space that still belongs to me When I'm gone.. Say hello for me When I'm gone, think about what all this does to me When I'm gone.. Say hello for me Say hello for me I wish my soul..
