As anyone who reads my blogs knows,I have a very low tolerance(actually,more like a complete short fuse that's ready to explode)of people that enjoy becoming reality event celebrities,whether it be on a reality-based television show or a player of a major newsmaking tragedy,and enjoy gaining whatever type of "15 minutes of fame"(although infamy and notoroiety is much more like it)that they gain out of it. 


    The latest obnoxious stooge in this sad real life game of reality happenings is Amanda Knox,a 22 year old Seattle resident-turned-Italian exchange student who's been imprisoned for the last two years for the murder of her British roommate,alongside her now ex-boyfriend and his pal,with a ratrace of a trial that's been described as major chaos involving tampered evidence,an overzealous prosecutor,and a badly bungled investigation,for all of this would have clearly got Amanda off the hook if she only wasn't smiling,grinning,and wearing an absolutely smug look upon her face throughout the trial,looking as if she's a complete sociopath happy to be receiving her share of publicity "fame" from this tragic murder,with Amanda having now been found guilty and sentenced to 25 years behind bars,with not only her clueless parents and family members but the brainless nitwits at CNN and HLN endlessly complaining about how she got a completely unfair trial and that she's the innocent pawn of the corrupt Italian police and court system that cruelly railroaded her to jail.


   The reality here is that Amanda is a very guilty little girl who participated in this crime,given the facial expressions she openly displayed that anyone would be innocent of such a crime wouldn't do,for the idiots who are crying that Amanda is innocent need to know that Italy has a completely different court system from our nation(the U.S.) that doesn't believe in the accused's rights first(before the victim's),something that publicity hungry yenta lawyer Gloria Allred(who's always looking for a camera to stand near)wisely pointed out,for if you're guilty of committing a very illegal crime in another country,you're automatically sent to jail no matter what country you're from,and those foreign countries never have lawyers that fully cater to an accused person's fullest needs,for as far as it goes in those countries the victim's rights always come first,case closed.

   Unfortunately,the only real thing that's now going to come out of this case is that Amanda's family are going to contact the U.S. council and lead a nationwide crusade to raise hell until Little Ms. Guilty Amanda gets freed,with all charges dropped,and sent back to her home country,ala what happened with the very guilty British baby shaking nanny Lousie What's-Her-Face that got caught,sentenced to a U.S. prison,but suddenly was immediately freed when England loudly cried afoul,with that little bitch Amanda then happily diving upon all of the reality TV publicty that she's going to get from this case and surfing upon it all as her unfortunate victim lays cold in her grave. I'm hoping that actually doesn't happen,but it just unfortunately might.

     I just heard the shocking news that writer-turned-porn filmmaker David Aaron Clark has passed away last afternoon from pulmonary embolism at the age of 49,which comes on the eve of AVN Awards nominations for his most recent film PURE(a porn remake of IN THE REALM OF THE SENSES).

    As folks reading this might know,Clark was a former SCREW magazine writer who made the switch to porm filmmaking in the late 90s,specializing in Asian girls themed films(that often contained fetish themes),for here are a few links to more info about Clark and his many writing and film works....

  Thanksgiving Is Now Finally Over,For Anyone Ready For Christmas Yet ?

        A new mainstream attempt to resurrect the 80s' ninja movie genre has arrived,it being the Wachowski Brothers(of THE MATRIX fame)' produced,James McTeigue(V FOR VENDETTA)-directed NINJA ASSASSIN,which pretty much succeeds in reinstating the ninja as a force to both be feared and reckoned with(mainly in the film's prelude pre-credits sequence)and restores their unqiue mystique that vanished via the AMERICAN NINJA films(which showed them as too venerable and easily killable),for Korean pop singer Rain plays the title role,a man who's been raised by the Ozuru clan as a child and slowly trained to become a brutal underworld killer(ala AZUMI),but then turns on the clan when both his clan girlfriend Kiriko(the very Korean looking Kylie Liya Goldstein/Anna Sawaii)is slain and the clan targets a black investigative agent(Naomie Harris)as their next hit.


    Lots of bad word has spread on the 'Net and indie freebie zines about this film being weakened by both its plot and CGI gore sequences(just what do those hipster wannabe peabrains[along with Roger Ebert] know,anyway ?),for the CGI gore never bothered me since the film merely plays more like a Wachowski Brothers directed Cannon ninja film that mainly concentrates on the action(and lots of gore and gliding dismembered limbs,even if it's CGI) and doesn't dwell into Quentin Tarantino-esque 30 minute dialogue sequences(which I feared was going to happen,but thankfully didn't),and it's merely a comeback vehicle for the all-too-long absent(from the big screen)80s martial arts hero Sho Kosugi,who succeeds in playing lead villain/clan leader Ozunu as menacing and cold hearted and helps give the film its edge,clearly shadowing Rain(who looks and talks more like a villain than a hero,but is still believable as the hero here),Rick Zune(as Ozunu's right hand man),and everyone else in the cast,and putting his ninjitsu skills to good use(even if he doesn't sword twirl or do flips like he used to),for Sho's longly awaited return makes one wonder why Quentin Tarantino didn't hire Sho as either Pei Mai or the leader of the Crazy 88s in KILL BILL and I hope that Sho will be on-screen more often(and not make this a one-shot return to film),whether it be in theaters or direct-to-video/DVD.  And before I forget,there is one sequence where a completely blood drenched Rain battles several ninjas on a speeding vehicles-filled street,for name one actor or current action star that could have the balls to pull off such a sequence(Vin Diesel ? Tom Cruise ? Brad Pitt ? Jason Statham ? Don "The Dragon" Wilson ? Lorenzo Lamas ?):I didn't think so.


   Otherwise,NINJA ASSASSIN may be a bit more like an Americianized version of an Asian actioneer,but at least it's fun-filled and never boring and is truckloads better than the routine garbage that's plagued our theater screens for the last five to six years.

        I know that I'm a day late for Thanksgiving,for here's my third annual Thanksgiving Biggest Turkeys list of the year's biggest losers and majorly dysfunctional celebrities that we can all live without....


    * SARAH PALIN: it's no surprise to see the barfy faced yenta queen/ex-Alaska governor-turned-book author(with her book GOING ROGUE)and Republican goddess(at least to that party),for Mrs. Potato Head has now sprouted plenty of rumors that her book is the kickoff to her 2012 bid for President,which is the very last thing America needs right now,otherwise we can take it as just a grain of salt for Palin to add another feather to her Attention Queen cap.

   * JON GOSSELIN: the world's most dysfunctional father that gives both fatherhood and reality TV celebrity a real bad name,for his Casanova wannabe escapades have only done major damage to his now-cancelled TV series(JON AND KATE PLUS EIGHT) and his marriage,but also his credibility as a completely sane person(since douchebag is a much more fitting term to describe him).

  *  KANYE WEST: whether it's trashing the G.W. Bush adminstration(as much as they still truly Suck),complaining that he's got no chicken dinner backstage,or rudely cutting off Taylor Swift's MTV awards acceptance speech,this guy just puts the DU in the word Dumbass.

 * GLENN BECK: this conservative ex-CNN commentator-turned-Fox News personality's insane assumption that President Obama is whether a socialist,a communist,a Nazi, college beer buddies with the V lizard aliens,or whatever the hell he's talking about,for anything that comes out of this guy's mouth just never makes sense to me(nor should ever be taken seriously).

  * EVERYONE AT FOX NEWS: O'Reilly,Hannity,Coulter,Geraldo,Michelle Malkin,it's doesn't matter,since all of their brans put together absolutely equal nothing.  

  *  NANCY PELOSI: since her induction into Congress,there's been nothing but a high defecit,rising unemployment,and a rising economy that nobody can survive,as well as acting completely dumb about everything,the door will be left widely open for Pelosi's exit once the 2010 election take place.

  *  OSCAR GOODMAN:  Las Vegas' Mafia mayor has reigned for 10 years but hasn't proven a thing to his fellow Vegans,with lots of unemployment,a worsening local economy,broken promises of new stadiums an arenas,a hostlie assault against the homeless,and verbal threats against anyone who speaks against him,Goodman has proven to everyone just what a complete douchebag he truly is,for one heavily fears if he runs for Nevada governor in 2010 and wins it.

  * JESSE VENTURA: looking older than Rob Halford's leather jacket,Jesse's recent dumb hosting gig on this past week's WWE RAW has shown that he definitely isn't the man for President in 2012(given his very poor and narcissistic governorship of Minnesota,making it a major loss for independent parties looking for a hero to emerge),especially how Jesse in his leather jacket looked more like a raisin in the sun than a newfound political hero(given his badly aging and haggardy appearance),and BTW:his upcoming Tru Channel show CONSPIRACY THERORY looks real dumb(even dumber than Chuck Zito's once-planned series STREET JUSTICE).

 * CHASTITY/CHAZ BONO: whether she's either Cher's obese daughter or her newly changed transsexual "son",Chaz is still(and will always be)both Chastity and a chick(no matter how "manly" she/he now looks).

        A day after actor Edward Woodward passes away,now comes word that MTV REMOTE CONTROL host Ken Ober has passed away at age 52,for no word on the cause of death other than that he was found dead in his home.

       REMOTE CONTROL is known for being the start of regular TV show programming on MTV(signalling the end of regularly playing music videos[and slowly drifting onto into reality TV land]),and introducing to the world both Colin Quinn(alongside his comical terrible karaoke-eque singing)and Kari Wuhrer(who debuted in the second season,and later dived straight into the world of DTV films),for further news on Ober's untimely death is at the link below....
