First off, Happy New Year!

A song of ours entitled 'All The Love Songs' is going to appear on a new compilation album that has been put together by Gohan Records, Noel Hogan of The Cranberries record label.

We recorded the song with Nick Seymour of Crowded House and it's a little different in style from the songs that appeared on our debut album 'Exit Here'.

The title of the compilation album is 'ToneList'. It is a  compilation of the best bands in Limerick

On behalf myself and the rest of the guys in the band, I would like to thank every last one of you for making our last show this year a SELL OUT!
We were blown away by the response!
It was great to celebrate the album and the last 18 months of hard work with our fans, friends and family in our home town.

Thanks guys for an amazing night that I wont forget for a long time!

 Also a big shout out to Walter Mitty & The Realists and Brendan Markham for play such blinding sets - Superb fellas, as always!

Now its back to writing and recording new material for the next release.
It was great to get such great feedback on the new songs that we played, so we are really looking forward to getting them down and moving forward.

Seasons greetings!

Our final gig of the year is coming up this Saturday, November 29th in Dolan's (upstairs) Limerick.We will be showcasing some of the new material that we are in the middle of recording at the moment.

The gig will be a celebration of 2008 which saw us visit Canada four times while also receiving major TV exposure in Canada and the USA.

Special guests on the night are the wonderful Walter Mitty and the Realists

and the brilliant Brendan Markham and his band.

Tickets are €10, €8 for students. Doors 9pm.

We are looking forward to 2009, playing in different Countries and releasing new material.

Such was the interest from Irish bands after VestaVarro's triumphant return last year that Indieweek organiser DarrylHurs brought the festival to Ireland in July '08, where several bandswere invited back over to play at a special Irish Showcase in Torontoas part of Indieweek '08. On the bill are Vesta Varro, Cork charttoppers Fred, Limerick funk rockers Walter Mitty and the Realists andTipperary indie-grunge noisekicks Maslow.

Vesta Varro are going to CANADA and we need your help. The band has a video for the new single BELIEVE on MUCHMUSIC - CANADA'S BIGGEST MUSIC STATION (like MTV) and we can stay on MUCH if you help us out by requesting the video.
