I am sitting here starring at the screen trying to
decide where to begin this blog.
I've decided that I'm going to just
jump right into it.
Now, I try not to judge and I try
to be fair and give folks the benefit of the doubt
if I have to. I read an article in the WashingtonPost,
Grooving and Moving With Hip-High Hipsters,
where parents can take their
'babies' to the club with them.
And they serve alcohol!!!!

Now, I'm not trying to be funny but . . .
if I'd had my child in a club or a bar with me,
big momma would have been down there
in a NorthCarolina minute!!!!
(See, a NorthCarolina minute is different
from a NewYork minute.
But we'll get into that another time).
My kids are grown!!! I find it hard
to go clubbing with them now!!
In fact, I've never gone clubbing
with them!!! Okay once. But we were visiting my hometown
and they wanted to see what
the night scene was like.

And besides, I don't drink
(anymore)
and they are grown!!!!

Anyway, this has absolutely pissed me off!!!
Yawl know as well as I do
that had that been a black woman (or man for that matter)posted on the front page of a news paper with ababy in one arm and a alcoholic beverage in the other arm, the child protective services would be dancing right next to her (or him)with a clipboard and a pen,'evaluating' the situation.
