Today may be the last day to cast your vote for "Change the Picture" in the Duke’s New Music Playoffs.  The race is EXTREMELY close between Robert Anton and me.  The margin is hovering between a dead heat and 2%.  As I write this Robert has a slight lead of less than 2%.

So... if you haven’t gotten around to giving your support to "Change the Picture" so it can move forward again and help change the world, now is the time.  http://www.musicplayoffs.com/nmpcurrent.php

And... thanks to all of you for making the first five wins possible.  You rock!

Peace in harmony,
Linq

The Institute for the Musical Arts (IMA) will be holding an e-bay auction in March and April to raise funds to complete their new state-of-the-art recording studio.  I have recorded all of my albums at this wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational, performance and recording space for women in music, and I'm donating my special-ordered solid-body lefty Hagstrom F-300 guitar (circa 1966) to the auction.  There are many exciting items going up for bid including an autographed leather jacket from the Hunger TV Series donated by David Bowie, autographed guitars from Bonnie Raitt, Ani DiFranco and Melissa Ferrick, and a Gold Record donated by Leslie Ann Jones.  A partial listing and schedule is available now at www.ima.org.  Check back often throughout March to see new additions, and please spread the word! To track the progress of the construction, go to www.youtube.com/IMAinthehouse
