i just always HAPPEN to be right.

I was ever so excited to bring my daughters and husband to this enchanting storybook villa. I remember walking into it with twin brother and our cousins and,like magic, becomng part of the fairy tale... nearly 100 fairytale characters guided us along winding mossy paths to nine different whimsical castles and cottages nestled deep into the woods of pt defiance- all waiting behind a gateway of giant stacked storybooks, Humpty-Dumpty perched high atop welcoming you into this enchanted kingdom where anything was possible. it was a picture perfect childhood...









Sadly, when we arrived it was nothing like what I had remembered. The book entrance was there, it’s colors chipped and faded, but no Humpty. The woman’s old shoe was run down. I only saw a couple cottages along the once gorgeous, but now rather creepy trails, and they were covered in disgusting spray-painted racial slanders. it’s not the word so much as the graffiti that offends me! I’m sincerely crestfallen that this place is no longer kept up. I enjoyed it so much as a child and it’s sad that the fairytales I grew up on are starting to disappear. Hopefully, someone with a heart and soul of a child will come in and revamp this mystical kingdom, before my childhood and the happiness of ALL are lost forever
