For those who would like to know (and before I forget!), I have started to chronical the stories behind my lyrics and any anecdotes I might have concerning the composing and recording of the songs.
This should prove to be a theraputic excercise for me and a fun one for people who know and like my songs. It should also kill any rumours about some of them, too.
If you would like to know the story behind any of my songs, please email me with your requests! Depending on how personal they are, or if I can still remember, I will definitely get around to including these requests.

1) Deptford - You're such a good friend. Deptford - I hope it don't end. "Who's the love of my life?" I'd have to say you. No-one gets to my heart the way that you do.
I love you more everyday, I love you more than words can say, You're my favourite person. I love you.
2) Deptford - You're my Little One. Deptford - You make my life fun. Everything you've been through, it must have been crappy. But everyone who knows you, you make them all happy.
You're fancied by so many men, I beg you: stay away from them. You're my favourite person, I love you.
3) Deptford - My future looks blue. Deptford - I hope I end up with you. I regret the time I spent chasing your best friend. I regret every second. I just want to go back in time and be with you instead.
And even if you reject me, I'm still your friend. I'll always be. You're my favourite person.
I love you.

1) Lock me up and throw away the key, I'm a prisoner of L-U-V.
But jail need not be hell, when you're banged up in Cell Block: Love.
2) I don't know everything, but I know this: It's not a crime to steal a kiss.
The warden is my belle, I'm doing time in cell block: love.
M8) You asked if I stole your heart. I pleaded "Guilty as charged".
You slapped the cuffs on my wrists, and now I spend my life in bliss.
M82) The way you flashed me a smile, they oughta put you on trial.
I knew when we first kissed: (ao-wa!) "Case Dismissed!"
Repeat Verse 1)
We seem to really gel, we're serving life in Cell Block: Love.

1) There's a girl in flat 3E, has a strange effect on me.
Beautiful and funny too, hope she tells me "I love you"
Natural Blonde and that's a fact. How many girls can say that?
No-one else can be the same, she's a cutie and her name is:
Chorus) Hannah Bounds. Sends my heart spinning round and round.
I know it's true love I have found, I'm absolutely crazy 'bout Hannah Bounds.
2) Spending time with her is bliss, sell my soul for just one kiss.
No Machine is strong enough to measure all my love.
When she marries me next year, my sadness will disappear.
She's the girl that I love best, heaven help me, I'm obsessed with...
Repeat Chorus)
She's:
"H" - hypnotic,
"A" - amazing,
"N" - nonpereil,
"N" - nubile,
"A" - adorable,
"H" - harmonious,
"B" - beguiling,
"O" - oh, my!
"U" - unbelievable,
"N" - Number 1!
"D" - delightful,
"S" - sensational!!!

1) (Thankyou!) Bumped into an ex-lover. I swore I was over her.
She held my hand, it was still the same, talking about my old flame.
2) She had just got her hair done like it was when we were young.
Memories came flooding back to haunt me, I told her I had to run.
Chorus1) (My old flame) I had to run and hide.
(My old flame) and when I got inside,
(My old flame) I broke down and cried, coz I'm still in love with her.
Chorus2) (My old flame) I still walk down her street,
(My old flame) And I try to be discreeet,
(My old flame) but the house where we used to meet brings it all back to life.
3) She has found somebody new. I lied and said I had too.
I can't move on, she's the one to blame. Talking about my old flame.

1) Cancel my subscription to Playboy. I'm taking down my posters of Lindsay Lohan, I don't need them no more
Since I found me a girl.
2) Staring late at night out my window at nearly-naked drunks as they walk down the street? That ain't my style
Since I found me a girl.
Bridge1) I won't be a loser anymore. She's the one I've been waiting for.
3) Used to study "Hollyoaks" all week then catch the omnibus with the sound turned down, but that's in the past
Since I found me a girl.
Bridge2) Goodbye "Nuts", goodbye Daily Star. Goodbye Lucy [Pinder], goodbye Jodie Marsh.
4) Those to whom I swore I'd be faithful, like Suzi Quattro, Kim Cattaral, and Christina Milian:
I'm breaking it off, now I've found me a girl.

ALLAN CLARKE.
1) Who's my favourite singer in the world? Still breaks hearts of millions of girls?
But he's someone of whom hardly anybody's heard.
2) First appeared in 1963. Spells his name with two L's and an E.
He's not the guy who wrote that controversial diary.
Chorus) Allan Clarke! Allan Clarke! Not the politician, but he's got his name.
Allan Clarke! Allan Clarke! No longer making music, but all the same, there's no-one with a voice like Allan Clarke.
3) He was in a band with Graham Nash. Every single they made was a smash.
Except "King Midas In Reverse", when he grew that 'tache.
Chorus2) Allan Clarke! Allan Clarke! "Would You Believe" is a work of art.
Allan Clarke! Allan Clarke! "Wings" and "Marigold" will simply melt your heart. I wish that I could write like Allan Clarke.
4) He retired in 1999. Rumours say his voice no longer shined.
But I saw him on a documentary shown the other night on Channel 4, and he sounded fine.
I just wanna be like Allan Clarke.

Chorus) "Rachel", you're like my "Rachel". I'll get over you soon as I'm able.
1) In 1992 when I first met you, you were so popular, I was the high school clown, you turned me down.
But I carried on. I even wrote that song I sang in assembly. Everyone laughed at me, including the teachers.
But I didn't cry, coz every guy must have his "Rachel".
M8) Second year: That's when I got the hots.
Third year: My face was covered in spots.
Year ten: In case you're wondering what happened from 4 to 9, they changed the name.
Year eleven: I got my bad hair fixed.
Year twelve: Suddenly, classes were mixed.
Year thirteen: Unlucky for some, but not me.
2) The interviening years, there have been some tears, and not always happy ones. We had a baby son, he's got your surname.
When the saga ends, will we still be friends or will you mean more to me? We'll have to wait and see. But I tell you this much: It ain't over yet. Please never forget that you're my "Rachel".
You'll always be my "Rachel".
