I want to hear about your fuck yeah fest experience.... if yours is good(and honest) i'll give you free passes to this years fest... here is a reminder....

Fuck Yeah Fest #1 - It was free. It was crowded. There were kids everywhere. Everyone was drunk. The liquor store on Alvarado and Sunset ran out of Malt Liquor. And the after party went till 6:00am

Fuck Yeah Fest #2 - Dillinger Four played. So did the Mean Reds and Wives. Once again people got too drunk. There were a lot of people. The ticket price said $6 on the flyer but at the last second I had to charge it to $7  cause I realized I couldn't cover my expenses even if it sold out at $6. Someone said that it was bullshit that upped the price a dollar. And then told me that the fest wasn't worth going to. This was at the fest and he had already paid for a ticket. I thought that was funny

Fuck Yeah Fest #3 - This was a huge headache. Never again will I charge $20 for a show. But Envy from Japan played and that was the best thing ever. Everyone that saw them would agree....

The main location for the fest is the Echo. For the fest you have to enter from behind the Echo off Glendale Blvd. is. The Entrance is off Glendale Blvd. just north of Park Ave on the east side of the street. You cant miss it. When you show up you can receive a full schedule of the bands playing and the location of each venue along with a map. And most importantly THERE IS PLENTY OF TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR FOR EACH NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope to see you soon.

BIG BUSINESS AND DARKER MY LOVE ADDED TO LA TREASURE HUNT AFTER PARY!!!!

 

**** By the people that did Fuck Yeah Fest and the LA Scavenger Hunt bring you an event that involves bike riding, a whole lot of bike riding and no driving… The LA Treasure Hunt.****

 

Rescheduled date: SUNDAY, APRIL 2nd

 

It would be rather hard to explain the whole concept of the treasure hunt in three short paragraphs but here goes… imagine a whole day of bike riding all over Downtown LA, Echo Park, Korea town, Silver Lake and Macarthur Park- trying to be the first team to solve the ten clues, which would get you the grand prize of $2,500 in assorted prizes(100's of records, too much clothes, and dozens of gift certificates to different restaurants, record stores and other businesses in LA) and on top of that, new bicycles for each team member. 

 

The hunt is made of ten clues. Half of which involve things such as collecting canned food, toiletries, and children's clothes. All of which will be donated to the Union Rescue Mission, Los Angeles largest mission. The LA Scavenger Hunt was a benefit for the same cause and with that event we were able to raise $10,000 in material goods for the mission. But take in mind that the other clues are not the easiest.

 

The Treasure Hunt will begin at 1:00pm and will end at 7:00pm. Following the hunt will be a huge after party taking place in Echo Park. The following bands will be playing….

The after party is free for everyone that participates in the Treasure Hunt. This is all for the cost of $6. Shit will be rad. Promise.
