Hey buddies, i'm just doing a wee update on the tour i just did around aotearoa..

they were the best shows we ever played and we were amazing and i am amazing and i love myself...


nah jokes but it was quite a crazy tour. we went through two storms, a state of emergency was called in blenheim, a guy punched his missus out in blenheim..fucking cunt.. a lady yelled at me to show her my tits in hamilton(which of course i obliged) we took our drummers amazing and beautiful daughter jamie from canada on the second half of the tour..she's only 11 and we sneaked her into most bars.

we played 17 shows and everyone was amazing and crazy.

i met a lot of people and had fun with the band and our tour manager nate was the best thing about the tour..he's a jem. we love him.

so anyways...sitting at home in melbourne preparing myself for the australian shows i am working on. how exciting huh. i'm so boring.

thankyou to everyone who came to the shows, it wouldn't have happened without you so we love you and never stop coming xxx

anika moa is heading out on tour once again. one of our best loved maoris is overjoyed that she gets to play to the little people. she gets to see their faces light up when she arrives onstage. how lucky you are man. it will be an unforgettable night with one of new zealands premiere lesbian maoris. beat that topp twins.

to all the people that have requested songs. well done. i am taking notes and attempting to learn the songs so it feels like a proper party time now... i will not let you down (but just in case i do don't sue me please).

i'd like to also add that if you do so desire and want to request a song from any of my three albums then don't be shy, who knows, i might actually like one of my songs enough to play it? i would go as far to say that you could arrange my set list for the night but bic already did that for the last winery tour show and also my band would hate me if we had to play all the songs from thinking room all night x

just to let you know that i still live in mebourne(which is the best) and it's real fun coming back to visit lil' ole' nz.. you guys are such losers... jokes. not.

and another thing......

kiaora. i am going on tour sometime late july early august around some of my favourite old haunts in new zealand. don't be jealous, i have a competition for anyone who's even interested but you don't win anything just the chance to pay to come see me and then hear me sing..hahaha. anyhoo, the "competition" is if you have a cover song you've been dying to hear me sing then write me and request it. i will learn it and then sing it. great idea huh. actually i stole it from tori amos, she's a hoe. tell me what town you're from along with your request so i know where to play it. again, great idea i know. the only covers i won't do though are any by missy higgins or kd or melissa or boy george...ewww yuk.

KIAORA there how are yous? i'm in rome having a wee lil wee holiday. i went to the vatican and saw some nuns and priests. that was real fun.one nun looked at me and i felt her eyes burning me(she was reading my mind and knew i was a naughty girl all the time and when i did drugs and when i drink too much and have sex with lots of people) but i just went to the confessional and repented, they gave me a bloody mary and said sweet as. just jokes babes. it was quite spiritually uplifting and i had a real nice day after visiting the vatican.(got drunk on vino rossi)
yeh so thats all really. back in new zealand this week.
i've got 'whats the time mr wolf' in my head.
but i woke up with 'you are sixteen going on seventeen' and i knew i'd have a great day.

hey folks, hows it? choice.
i'm just lying in bed actually quite bored, waiting for my flatmates to wake so i have someone to talk to, listening to national radio(intellectual), and thinking maybe i should write a blog.
saw half of we will rock you last night..annie crummer was incredible, funny and the greatest singer.. i was spellbound..but then i went home cos i was sick(too drunk)(or was i?) anyways, it was a good show. i want to ride my bicycle, speaking of dy/bikes, i am heading to amsterdam tonight to film my next video clip for my next single. lucky ay! then to rome for a holiday. don't be jealous please.
