We would like to let everyone know that we will soon be doing song heavy writing and recording for our debut album. The album has yet to be titled as there is no set track listing or anything of that nature yet. All that is certain is that this coming fall and winter will be spent writing and recording for the album.
In the mean time be sure to catch one of our upcoming shows because they will probably be the last shows for a while. Make sure that you keep checking back though. There is sure to be a show or two sometime throughout the fall and winter months. There will also be a blog to look forward to that we will update as often as possible. Be sure to keep checking back for that as we will update you on every step of the process.
Also, to keep you entertained (and to keep our creative juices flowing) there will be at least one new track released online.

Thanks for all of your support and enthusiasm!

Hey folks!!!

Well today we have been working on a Street Team for a while now slowly, but today I got very excited about it with some great ideas for promotion and stuff so I started working on getting people to join my promotion squad! In short if you want to help us hand out promotional materials around your area and get some special benefits from the band join the Street Team. Do this by sending an email to me (Dave, bassist) to the band's account soulscapeband@gmail.com from there I will email you back and get you on our Street Team email group and we will determine promoting details from there! I hope you decide to help and I look forward to talking to each of you personaly!

Peace and talk soon!

Hey friends! It's been a long time since any type of update so here one is for all of you people out there smart enough to be a fan of Soulscape. Although it may seem that we have not been very progressive this past school year we really have been. It is true that we haven't played many shows, but we have been busy doing much other planning and preparation that is getting us ready for a great summer, and everything after that. 4 of the 5 of us had to finish high school this year as many of your know which took a lot of time, but also since Ben stayed up in Fargo to graduate and Dan stayed in Duluth to work we were very much separated over this time, but the great invention of the Internet has helped us much by being able to send each other new music ideas, and do some of the great deal of planning we have to do.
If any of you saw us last summer at all around the Twin Cities or anywhere else you saw a young band, with much talent, but not all of it yet molded together. This is where it is much different this year. We have been doing a lot of writing and practicing and we are ready to come out as a completely different band this summer and start a career! We have changed in writing styles, and with the addition of Tony this past winter we have become more rounded in writing with his heavier influences before Soulscape. We have many new songs that a lot of people would like, even if you didn't like some of our softer/mellower stuff this past year and we are only writing more with time.
If you have been keeping up with our Myspace page at all you would notice we have surpassed 20,000 plays. That's a pretty good number I might think, but I know we can do better, and I know that all of you can too by telling your friends to check us out!
This summer we are planning on getting a finalized mix of Pieces out to radio stations that have been waiting for it since hearing it on our Myspace profile. This is very exciting to us as it will reach more people, but y'all can help with that too! Just tell your friend to give us a listen, and we would all love you forever! If you get a chance come by a show in your area and afterwards come hang out with us. We'd love to hear from ya!
By now whoever is reading this is very bored and wants to close the page because they hate reading (well a lot of people I bet) so that is all for my blog at this time. We will be keeping up with the updates throughout this summer and hope everybody keeps in touch with us!

Peace, love and rock 'n roll!

Current mood:  satisfied
Hey all, just thought I'd post a bit about the show last night.

For starters - music started a little late but thats alright, it's all good. There were only supposed to be 3 bands, but for some reason there was a fourth band that played WAY longer than they were supposed to so our set was moved way back...once again Soulscape made it through.
Finally came our set. We kicked off the show with Escaping The Routine and the crowd was giving us some of the best energy that a crowd can give right from the get-go. It was a BLAST. During songs like ETR, Pieces, and Embrace there was quite a bit of moshing and things of that nature...We couldnt be happier with the show, the turn out was great - there was an estimated 200 person crowd put by stage when we were up there.

We have a ton of pictures that will be uploaded to the website, not to mention the video we have of our entire set so if you want to see that something might be able to be arranged....

Thanks for everyone's support - we now have 15,000+ plays! YESSS

Thanks again!

Calling all Soulscape fans! Soulscape has released their newest song, Pieces, and with it prove that they can improve yet again. With a performance and mix that rivals even Bitter, Soulscape hits hard with a song heavier than most recordings to date. Rock on!

Well we just got back from the studio where we were busy finishing up our recording session on Pieces which many of you know and are anxious to hear a recording of. That should be mixed and ready for Myspace by this week sometime. It would have been tonight but we ran into a big problem in the finalizing process with our software and we are hoping our audio tech can get that fixed soon.

We also got a couple new pictures taken during the session too which we will put up on both our site and myspace page.

Keep in touch people!
