Cheapshot’s was founded in February 2007 by brothers Jordan and Colton "Cheapshot" Fisher. Although the brothers had extremely different backgrounds (Jordan - a West Point graduate, successful computer programmer, and a savvy real estate investor while Colton – a music aficionado, producer, Hollywood DJ, and one forth of the band Styles of Beyond,) the two had always shared the dream of one day starting their own business together. Early on in his career, Jordan began investing in Long Beach, CA seeing it as "a diamond in the rough" and "the last oceanfront property in Southern California that isn’t over-priced." Colton, on the other hand, would come down to visit from time to time and notice the city’s beauty but was always frustrated with the night-life options available in the city. "There’s tons of over-sized loud clubs or small, worn-down dive bars…nothing in between that fuses night-life, youth, class, and sports all into one." Until one day, the two brothers got together for drinks and began reminiscing about their childhood dream. Several bar napkins full of scribbles and notes later, the two shook hands and decided to stop the dreaming and make "Cheapshot’s" a reality. Located two blocks from the heart of Long Beach’s nightlife district, "Cheapshot’s" fills a void in entertainment and adds a touch of "Hollywood" to an up-and-coming city. "Now people won’t have to drive almost an hour north to hang out in a young yet sophisticated environment…as a matter of fact, I’m positive people will be driving from LA to enjoy what we have to offer" Jordan says with confidence. "Cheapshot’s" is a 2200 square-foot bar, dressed in dim lights, lavish settings, and a touch of sports humor offering an extensive list of domestic, imported, and local beers and wines.
