Was just having a listen to some rehearsals. Thought you might like to hear some noise. Gonna record this one proper starting...next week? Have just changed a couple of lyrics. It's better now. I'm excited about producing the shit out of this one. Or maybe not. Hmmmmm...we shall see.

My friend and co-writer of 'One Down and Four Up', Mark L Berry, has had an article printed in the September issue of the print magazine BMW Motorcycle Owners of America. It's about his novel Pushing Leaves Towards the Sun and the music within, and in particular, our co-write - our "motorcyle song".

You can read the online version here:

My friend Mike aka Darklight has posted up a new track which features a few samples of me. It's called "See The Light" and can be found on his myspace: www.myspace.com/mindcrash

Fun stuff - totally different genre to mine. Check it out!

OK. I was thinking RomCom soundtrack when I wrote this. I think I've been watching too many chick flicks lately. Offers of record deals and marriage most welcome.

Due to popular demand (shocking! but true) I've uploaded the 'Broken' demo from my previous MySpace music page.

Incidentally, this is the track that author Mark L Berry heard, and subsequently asked me to write the music for the lyrics in his forthcoming novel (see previous blogs for more info).

Performed by Kim Smith (vocals, guitar, bass), Andy Munro (guitar solo) and Dave Morgan (drums).Recorded at Big Fish Studios in St Albans, UK. This sound recording is copyright © Sneaky Hooks 2006. Well, here they are, at long last. "One Down and Four Up" and "From a Long Way Away" from Lindy's Basement Tapes, a promo CD included inside the forthcoming novel Pushing Leaves Towards The Sun by Mark L Berry (see previous blog entry for more info). Brand spanking new versions of these songs will also be included on the full-length 'soundtrack to the novel', that I'm currently writing the music for. Pre-production is already in full swing. Wheeeee!

Any feedback is most welcome.
