On Sunday, October 19th, we have two touring bands coming through Pittsburgh - Wetnurse (Seventhrule / NY, NY) and Khann (Black Market Activities / Orlando, FL).
This is going to be a semi-early show at the Smiling Moose - first band at 9:00PM. We will be playing at 11:00PM, so you'll be home early enough for work the next day.
We will also be playing a little bit of new material for anyone who's interested.
Come check out these bands and help support underground music.
Thanks

So the show was bizarre to say the least. We set up shop next to some magazine racks and rocked for about 30 people. It was our first show back in the U.S. and things were definitely out of whack. Unused to playing on our own gear, and rusty from 10 days off. Playing under a blaring mixture of fluorescents and natural lighting from the storefront window set an atmosphere of extreme vulnerability. We were all slightly nervous for some reason. It occurred that it was our first all ages show in Pittsburgh. Afterwards, it occurred to me that we've never actually played a good show in our home town. Shit. But we had a great time and were happy to hear that Eide's has been selling a decent number of Com/Fail records. We want to thank Hero Destroyed for asking us to play, and Zach in particular for providing the P.A. Thanks to Shawn for the pictures.

New ComFail review is out now in Terrorizer (June 08).
"SuperNova Records is fast becoming an extension of Steve Austin's angry and paranoid musical vision. His influence runs right through 'Perversions Of Guilt', audible both in the bellicose songwriting and in the warm, dynamic rich production... A crushing debut which is all the better for its rough-hewn arrangements." 7.5/10
