New website design for "Devil's Rejects, My Bloody Valentine 3-D, Spider-Man" actor/ stuntman Chris Carnel.

Monsterman Graphic is proud to launch the new website for Hollywood's own "Monster-man" Chris Carnel. Doubling for names like Christian Bale, Matt Dillon, Jason Statham, Justin Timberlake, among many others. Chris joins the ranks of horror/ icon/ serial killer as "The Miner" from the latest Lion's Gate release "My Bloody Valentine 3-D". Currently, Mr. Carnel is working in the George Romero remake of "The Crazies" scheduled for 2010.

A fateful meeting during last March's "Monster-Mania Con", Monsterman Jackson proposed a way to provide personalized autographs online so that celebrities could increase income selling merchandise, while presenting their portfolio online to potential producers/ directors and make fans happy without leaving home. Chris' professional experience includes stunts for such films as "Iron Man, Cradle 2 the Grave, Spider-Man 1, 3, XXX, plus a slew of others. The idea was to create a resume that was fun and direct at the same time. The result is satisfying to both the actor and designer. Be sure to friend Mr. Carnel at www.myspace.com/chriscarnel and checkout the site at www.chriscarnel.net

Are you an upcoming or professional actor that would enjoy having a top notch online presence for the world wide web, while selling merchandise when you're not at a convention? Would you like the idea of having producers/ directors find you, instead of the other way around? Call (773) 857-2172 or email the Monsterman now at monstermangraphic@gmail.com

They're coming for you Barbaraaaaaa ...

Honestly folks, this is one of those kick ass moments in a horror artists career...so elated & grateful to be part of the new "artist series" of official "Night of the Living Dead" apparel for Fright Rags/ Fearwerx companies!
Joe Sena (awesome dude) of Fangoria/ Fearwerx hooked up the Monsterman Jackson with Fright Rags owner/ founder Benjamin Scrivens, currently working on NOTLD designs for an upcoming series of shirts by the kick ass horror apparel producer.
Have you seen the Creepshow "I got my Cake" or "Shark vs. Zombie" t-shirts wandering around
the horror cons these days...yep, them's Fright Rags.
To think that in the year 2009 I'd be tackling the infamous 1968 classic (40 frickin' years later) has totally blown my mind.
So without ado...If you want blood you got it....
Submitted for your approval is a sneak at the sketches in the works...

The Monsterman studio merges with Fear City Choppers! An all new location makes art mission Hell bent for leather and then some....

For the last 15 years, The HI-FI/Fear City name has been associated with Chicago's most industrious Rockers, punks, greasers, tattoo artists, hot rod - motorcycle afficianados & record labels such as Victory, Haunted Town & Nervous.
Scott Jackson/ Monsterman Graphic is ecstatic to announce it's move in with this club of "madmen" to an all new location in East Wicker park (North & Elston) next to the infamous "EXIT" nightclub. At last! A happy home makes happy friends, family & customers!
Fate brought opportunity to grow as a business within this all new space... Literally, a vintage factory/warehouse complete with upper level corporate office space, perfect for a group of low-brow creative types to flourish and prosper! A rock 'n' roll dream...surrounded by bikes, hot rods, art, bands, and...'nuff said!
Patrons of the monsterman will enjoy greater productivity while my friends can enjoy a less cramped visit as was the case in the old studio at Belmont & Racine.
"I forsee a custom "Halloween" themed Harley Davidson in the works, because that's exactly the type of monstrous art projects this studio intends to produce!" It's all about freedom baby...and all I can say is this summer's got some sizzlin' surprises ahead as the Monsterman joins Fear City for 2009!

Liquid Sky is a 1982 science fiction film produced and directed by Slava Tsukerman that has become a cult classic on the midnight movie circuit. The screenplay, which features an absurd storyline, was written by Slava, his wife Nina Kerova, and Anne Carlisle, and the director of photography, Yuri Neyman was a special-effects expert from the Soviet Union. Anne Carlisle also wrote a novel based on the movie in 1987. The film had a $500,000 budget, which meant that Tsukerman and his wife had to use a renovated Greenwich Village loft as the sound stage. The music for the film was composed by Brenda Hutchinson and Clive Smith using the Fairlight CMI, the first digital sampler/synthesiser. Much of it was original, while some songs were interpretations of music by Carl Orff and Baroque composer Marin Marais. The film is out of print and only a limited number of VHS tape re-issues and DVDs were produced. The film, however, does run occasionally on the Sundance Channel.

Fetishes is a 1996 documentary by Nick Broomfield filmed at Pandora's Box, one of New York City's most luxurious SM/fetish parlours. The film contains interviews with professional dominatrices and their clients including the New York filmmaker Maria Beatty. The documentary opens with black and white footage from an Irving Klaw film depicting models, including Bettie Page, wearing fetish attire. Nick Broomfield and his film crew then arrive at Pandora's Box on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue and are given a tour of the facility by Mistress Raven, including the dungeon and the medical room. The rest of the documentary consists of the following eight chapters: Slaves, Mistresses, Rubber fetish, Wrestling fetish, Corporal punishment, Masochism, Infantilism, Socio-political fetishes. The film was produced in the United Kingdom and was originally made for HBO'S "America Undercover" series.

The Monsterman &  metal mayhem  featured at Doom Festival December 20 - 21
A dinner menu with burgers titled 'The Pantera', 'The Iron Maiden' & 'The Plague Bringer', along with a playlist that rivals 'headbanger's ball', Kuma's Corner is clearly the heaviest metal restaurant/ pub in all of Chicagoland. When 'DC/ Batman' artist Don Kramer turned me on to this place, I had a gut feeling that it was only a matter of time before the Monsterman would get involved & be family. This December, Kuma's plans to melt the snow by hosting 'Doom Fest', the 2 day event featuring 18 annihilating performances by these super metal groups: Kongh, Samothrace, Indian, Ol' School, Minsk, Blood of the Tyrant, Beneath Oblivion, Rue, Ganon, Rabid Rabbit, Plague Bringer, Yakuza, Lair of the Minotaur, Jungle Rot, The Atlas Moth, Battlefields, Lord Mantis, Across Tundras & Harpoon! Join us for a heavy metal holiday at the legendary Double Door where Kuma's Corner & Monsterman Graphic will be on hand to meet & greet bands, fans, exhibit original album cover art, posters, comics & eye candy to rock the night away! See myspace.com/kumadoomfest for more information.
