YES!!! This blog is called Leaving Newquay - and we leave in 1 week! We are SO escited, beacuse we are going to Greece for a week holiday - will fly into Athens spend a day or two there, then catch a ferry across to Santorini Island - ahve heard the temperature there is 46 degrees celsius! HOT! Will be lovely after freezing cold England! Then on the 17th July, we arrive back in London, get in the van and take off to Scotland! We want to go to Edinburgh first - have heard its really nice, and we have some friends there who have been busking on the streets to make money! We definately wont be busking, not an inch of musical talent between us (Sorry Ian!) but we will hopefully find some work there - maybe work for a month or two, then get back on the road, and not work again until we a) run out of money or : b) get back to Australia in February 2008! Will post a pic of our van soon! Its well wicked! Ok, thats all the latest!

Hiya! As they say in England! Actually, its quite annoying and I promise never to say it again! Along with a few other whinging pom sayings! But honestly, with weather as crappy as this all the time - I DO NOT BLAME THEM! Today is raining cats and dogs and blowing a gale! Awful! And Im just recovering from a cold, and have to start work - well actually I should have started one minute ago - but Im just sitting here in the office wasting time until I really have to do some work!

Ian is at work too, and we are just working lots and lots! Newquay is ok - but its really just a stop we are making on our trip in order to top our money supply up. We want to go to Scotland next, before heading to Germany for the Octoberfest! We have bought a van - named 'Edie' and are spending our one day off a week exploring Cornwall. It is a really pretty place. Its just a shame about the weather! Ah well - enough time wasted! Got to get back to work!

Ok, we are in London, England!! So far, not very many touristy things, although we did go on the London Eye - which cost a ridiculous amount of money to stand in a hot stuffy little bubble with 20 other people and look at the dirty Thames River and a heap of buildings!!! Big Ben is very nice though, especially at night! We have also paid ridiculous money to catch the crowded subway around the place for the last couple of days, and are now relieved to have finally bought a car! Its a lovely red Postman Pat van! We pick it up tomorrow morning - and although we paid lots for it, it will be our accomodation for the next couple of days, so we plan to spend more to deck it out with mattress, and cooker, and a heater - becasue England is so bloody cold!!!!! Its actually not so bad at the moment - or maybe Im climatising.. I hope not! I dont want to get used to the dreariness!!! Well Im just going on and on, but the point is, we are on the way to setting ourselves up in England. Tomorrow, we are getting in that car, and driving to Cornwall. There, we will find a job, and somewhere to live!

Will keep this blog posted! Hopefully someone will read this thing so it makes it worthwhile that I have actually written it!

Hola from Spain!!! Have just worked out how to blog!

Ok, we are in Bilbao, Spain at the moment, and tomorrow we fly to London UK!! We have unfortunately come to the end of our 1 month holiday, and now need to start working again, and building our bank balance back up!

Quick summary on our trip :

Arrived in Santiago, Chile on 24 Feb 2007. Stayed two nights,and met some fantastic people at our hostel, then caught a bus to Pichilemu on the coast of Chile. Spent 4 nights there, just surfing & relaxing by the beach, and going to the markets there. Weather was cold! We then caught the bus back to Santaigo, and flew to Lima, Peru the next day! Spent two nights in Lima - very big, and dirty, and rich & Poor at the same time. Then flew to Cusco, Lima, where we went up to Macchu Picchu! We loved Cusco! Very beautiful little city! Back to Lima for a night, then on the plane to Rio De Janiero, Brazil! HOT!!! First day, slept off the jet lag! Second day, went for a boat cruise! Lots of alcohol, music, and jumping off the boat into the ocean! Next day - spent at the beach, surfing and sunbaking! Next day was Ian´s Bday! Beach, then out to dinner, then party at the Hostel! Cake and Beer! Another day at the beach, visit to Christ Statue, shopping, then flight to Madrid, Spain! Arrived in Madrid - Freezing! Bella got sick :( Too much hot then cold! 2 days in Madrid, shopping and wandering, then 8 hr bus trip to San Sebastian - beautiful! but cold! It snowed when we arrived! San Sebastian is ocean on one side, beatiful ols spanish buildings, then snow covered mounatins on the other side! Stayed two nights, then 1 hr bus to Bilbao - cold and dirty, then flight to London next day! And that brings us up to now!!! Hope that was informative! Will post more pics soon, so stop nagging!!!!! Oh, and I put Wonderwall as the song, because everywhere we go, that song seems to be playing!! Honestly, all the Latin American countries play the hell out of that song!!! Its driving Ian crazy! Actually, Im driving him carzy too, because evrytime its not playing, I start singing it... hehe
