WE START OFF RIGHT AT THE ANDY WARHOL MUSEUM IN PITTSBURGH ON WEDNESDAY AND THEN GO STRAIGHT TO COLUMBUS OHIO, JD'S HOME STATE, ON THURSDAY. OUR SHOW THERE IS AT THE CIRCUS BAR, AND WE REALLY WANT PEOPLE TO THROW DOWN IN THE SAMSON FAMILY NAME.

THEN WE SHAKE IT OVER TO CHICAGO FOR A GAY ASS SHOW AT BERLIN WITH THE CHANCES DJS AND END UP IN MINNEAPOLIS FOR ANOTHER GAY ASS PARTY AT THE TRIPLE ROCK.

FROM THERE ITS SEATTLE AND DOWN THE WEST COAST. THEN HIGHTAILING IT BACK TO THE EAST THROUGH ARIZONA, TEXAS NEW ORLEANS AND ATHENS GA. WE WILL SEND UPDATES ALONG THE WAY.

whoa we have so much to tell you.
where should we begin.

this tour rules. omg. we are having so much fun.
lausanne show ruled and so did our monday night rampage on freiburg town. the people were flipping out! we played with a rad band called sons de disco and another band from barcelona called its not not.

we ate good dinner and took a hike up in the black forest. we watched the sun set from the top of the mountain and looked over at the city from above. it was pretty incredible.

it was  up in the air as to how our show would turn out but people got super freaky and really enjoyed themselves. the guys from sons de disco got onstage and made out during make it reverse which was pretty good. and i debuted my house hat which was pretty exciting too.

it was 4/20.

and then we went to the hotel and me and michael fell asleep to keith jarrett with a headphone splitter. what can we say.

today we drove to luxembourg. ginger got a bunch of empty bike tires for her performance tomorrow in hamburg for girlmonster. we had a shot of absynthe after sound check and we are ready ready ready to eat at the amazing vegetarian place next door that jo and i ate at last time we were here.

things are going really well.
our stomachs hurt from laughing.

ok so we had our first show EVER in lyon last night. it was pretty amazing. we played on a boat on the canal at a party called MIDDLEGENDER. people got naked even before we asked. we all sweat through our whole costumes and we had our first ever encore! needless to say i think we are having a good time, and we are super excited for the rest of the tour.

today we drove to lausanne switzerland and we went to the best mcdonalds i have ever been to in my life. i also ate activia yogurt for the first time. i thought it was gross. michael thought it was delicious. it wasn't called activia though it was called actif.

we all took naps and thomas told us who should open for us on our upcoming canada tour.

tonight we have a soundWOMAN. which is very rare. she rules and has a ponytail. anyways we had a really good soundcheck and we are super stoked for the show tonight.

we also just confirmed another gig in manchester for the first of may with RITON. who rules. ah we are on the right path to becoming the most raddest gayest faggiest lesbionic band ever.

oh and we ate a delicious dinner with VEGETABLES from the local region. i didn't even know there were vegetables in europe!

guttentag friends and family!

yesterday we arrived from nyc to munchen where we met up with our amazing agent/tour manager/friend thomas. we went straight to the mall so that we could eat some really crazy sandwiches with cold fishies in them. i opted for the american breakfast which wasn't american at all but french. or english. a little boiled egg that you crack open yourself and eat with some ham and bread and cheese. suprise. ham and bread and cheese.
it was actually really fun to be in the mall, have some coffee and start our 'food tour'. now that ginger is in the van i'm sure we will be getting our hands on some really interesting stuff.
then we got a keyboard stand from a place called "the music shop" and i took a picture with a huge mixer that they had built on the walls for really good decorating.
oh i also bought some neon sticks and some little tiny flashlights.
then we made it back to 'casa del queerbeat' and began dying our t shirts really really nice colors in the washing machine.
ginger brought this amazing dye and before you knew it there was like one million super beautiful and colorful shirts. some are chartreuse. some are lavendar and some are blue. so cool so so cool.
we spent the day in the sunshining doing all kinds of last minute things to our costumes, our instruments, and our merch. we made a lyric sheet and tried really hard to stay awake!!!!
michael conked out for a couple hours, not without me poking him and taking photos of him. they are actually really cute. maybe one day i will learn to put pictures on here.
i forced him awake and then we all took the tram into the inner city for some delicious afghan food. my favorite place to go in munich.
ginger fell asleep in the tram on the way home while trying to give thomas friendship advice.
i took a big ol' ambien and a big ol' shower and got really stoked to fall asleep in my bed and wake up to our first big day. with our first big show. at the middlegender party in LYON.
we are so stoked it is unbeweaveable and we can't wait to fucking get this shit started.
