Restless Roots

The legacy of my hair is continuing with full force.

I now realize it has been three years since that faithfull accient encountered by me dying my hair SFX blood red while I was pregnant with Zane and getting this amazing shade of pink.

While only a few lapses back to other shades over the last three years with exstensions, my hair has remained bright f**king atomic pink for an accumulative of 3 years. It fits me, just like napalm orange always has and I'm headset on the warm neon colors.

But I'm BORED.

That and I work way too much, the maintenance of dying roots makes me want to kick a baby. I mean what, like ONE day off a week, which I spend frantically cleaning my apartment. Plus, getting off at 11pm at night, I cant do anything in my apartment other than lay in bed without the assholes below me filing a complaint. Yes, that pretty much even includes cooking dinner. Which as Cameron can attest to, is bullshit because they're audibly blaring their Afghani Propganda TV well into 3am in the morning, so the complaints are bullshit.

Back to hair.... I'm down to two choices. Go back to extensions so at least it's a change. It's low maint, I just have to get new ones every 6-8 weeks.

Or go two tone, which I'm leaning to. Slap my *gasp* natural color over the top leaving the mid section and some bangs atomic pink. This leaves it still fun but WAY less root management. That and it's slightly more professional. Not like I'll ever see a customer at work, or I've ever been in a position where I've felt taken less seriously because I've had pink hair. In fact, I always get the exact opposite reaction. Maybe it's because I dont wear all black and have gaudy goth makeup, I dont know. It's a tragic curse to be obsessed with glitter. Cameron refers my bathroom as looking like the explosion of Tammy Faye Baker. I think it's cute.

Oh well.
