I went to the Black Clouds and Underdogs tour w/ Fall Out Boy, the All-American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights, From First to Last, and the Hush Sound last night (Mar 19) in the Tweeter Center at the Waterfront.

It was freakin insane! :-) They had this deal...I bought Hawthorne Heights' album, If Only You Were Lonely, and after their show, I got to talk to them for a minute and get my CD signed. I love it when bands do stuff like that, and are genuinely nice to you, just like the guys in HH were.

It's a great album, in my opinion.

Anyway, the whole concert was amazing. It started out with a nice set from The Hush Sound. Then came some heavy screamo by From First To Last, which was nice. A little too hardcore for my tastes, but it was ok. Then Hawthorne Heights came out! Now that was an awesome set. Then I missed the first three songs by the All American Rejects, because I was getting my Hawthorne Heights CD signed, however, I got back in time to hear 5 or 6 of their songs. From what I heard, it was really really cool. Then Fall Out Boy came out. Now, we all knew it would be great, and it was! It was misleading, however, when the band disappeared, to get changed, and this dork came out and had people hit him on the chest. I mean, it was funny, but ... I didn't pay for comedy, I paid for Fall Out Boy. But whatever, I heard a few more songs after they came back out. It was cool.

This blog post marks the start of my latest "operation"...

Operation: Music Ressurrection

is the recovery of my music and getting me back on my feet. Remember I told you my slick Creative Nomad Zen Xtra broke? Well I just went to CircuitCity with the intention of at least returning it, and maybe getting it replaced by a new Creative or another brand. I was granted store credit, and got an iPod mini (silver one, if you need to know). It's sweet. I also got an external hard drive with a whopping 120 GB. You know what it'll be used for! Backing up my music and storing Operating Systems (such as Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.)

So like yesterday, my music died. I was walkign and it froze so i turned my mp3 player off and back on and it booted into some wacko "safe mode" thing. i tried to get it to start and it just said "Harddrive Problem"...

That was the day the music died.

I might fix it later over the summer or something. Dunno. I'm trying to save up for a laptop and a new development server and can't afford either yet.

1. im bad at web design. i hired some guys to do the web design aspects of my company for me. maybe they can make me a blog.

2. i forget to post in it.
