Thinking back to the beginning of 2009, I would have never guessed I would be where I am now. When we started the year, we were uniting youth groups for monthly Dwell meetings and occasionally Burns. Now we have the growing Boiler Room community moving towards day and night worship and prayer. I get the sense that 2010 will contain the same kind of discoveries and new beginnings from the God who does “exceedingly abundantly more than we could ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20). I will say this: I have a deeper resolve in my spirit than ever that God has called us to unite students towards day and night prayer for revival. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is going forth across the world, and 6:22’s primary role is to fuel Jesus’ missional church with “undignified” worship and radical prayer/fasting for the glory of God in our city and the earth. Lives are being changed. We have seen clearly some of that fruit. In the Boiler Room students are being set free from fear, and accepting God’s calling for their life—some to foreign nations, others to reach out on their campuses. Some tell stories of how their youth groups or churches are being stirred in deeper worship by our songs or by those who have “caught” the fire of worshiping Jesus freely at 6:22 and returned to their church/campus to influence their friends. If you have yet to visit the Boiler Room on a Friday night to experience this, please try to come out and see for yourself! I also have faith that there is much fruit that is not seen until after the seeds are given time. Some of the impact of our prayers will probably never be known. Yet we know that when we humble ourselves to pray, God hears and heals our land (2 Chronicles 7:14). I will be honest: we need your help. We need your prayers. We need more manpower. And we need money. Please sow a seed into what God is doing here. I have good reason to believe that 6:22 is fertile spiritual ground to sow into. If you remember, the reason we have the Boiler Room is because God spoke to a willing servant who was obedient to give extravagantly in faith to cover the rent. I want you to know that the man who is giving us $1000 a month to cover our rent has a business that, in the midst of an economic recession, has been consistently growing in profits each quarter since he started giving to the Boiler Room. God loves to give to those who He can trust to be obedient with what He gives them. This man is also being encountered by God in an increasingly supernatural way with receiving dreams at night, visions and prophetic words from the Lord. This is a man who has a church background in a “traditional” denomination where these things are very uncommon. Will you please consider making an end of the year gift? Please seek the Lord and give as He leads. Send checks to 6:22 Ministries, PO Box 1786, Greenville, NC 27835 or give online (credit card or checking account) here on our donate page. Specific Boiler Room Needs--More monthly partners to cover the recurring costs and ongoing ministry events --A vacuum cleaner --$500-600 for outside signs --Worship leaders, intercessors, musicians and singers to help with the morning prayer times. Sound equipment-a sound board, monitors and a snake (we are currently borrowing these items) Thank you! Matthew Lilley

There's so much going on with 6:22... here's an update for you. The Boiler Room
As
most of you know, 6:22 now has a physical home called the Boiler Room
in Uptown Greenville. We had our official grand opening last Thursday,
July 2nd - a worship night with 6:22 and the Glorious Unseen. The place
was packed and God's presence was strong. Many were crying or on their
knees praying. It was HOT, but everyone's perseverance to keep
worshiping in the heat was inspiring. Hopefully some photos or videos
will surface soon. Along
with our Monday night Bible studies, the space is being used for a 6:22
office, a space for 6:22 band member Ray to teach guitar lessons and a
space for Harmony Church's summer prayer gatherings. Next week it will
be used as a recording studio for Matthew Lilley, and after Worshipfest
it will host weekly 6:22 Friday night worship gatherings! Our hope is
that this place will be filled with worship and prayer day & night. We
are working on a Boiler Room web site that will eventually be at
greenvilleboileroom.com. In the meantime, if you want some more details
on the history and vision for the Boiler Room, please read the
following document: http://www.622ministries.org/boilerroom.pdfAlong
with the awesome privilege of having our own space, we have added
responsibility, most notably financially. Although the first year's
rent has been covered, we now have to think about utility bills and
toilet paper! Please consider becoming a monthly 6:22 partner to help us cover the costs. Even a small monthly committment helps us tremendously! Along
with ongoing costs, we have two major one-time needs that we want to
have before we start Friday night meetings on August 14: HVAC system. As
we discovered Thursday night, window AC units just won't cut it when we
have a large crowd (we had four window units going full blast all day).
We need central heat/air, which will cost around $6000-7000, and our
landlord will not cover these costs. There is a chance for us to get a
system donated, so PLEASE PRAY! PA System.
Despite what many people think, 6:22 does not have its own sound
system. We have had amazing people like John Lance or Youthquake who
have let us borrow their systems for previous events. We do have
microphones, but we need everything else - speakers, amps, sound board,
snake, FX. We have a potential sound board that we can borrow
temporarily, but we really need to get some speakers for the space.
Please pray or consider making a one-time gift to 6:22.
Summer Bible Study
 For
the first time 6:22 is taking the summer to host a weekly Bible study
on Monday nights. Since May we have been learning about King David's
tent by studying one of 6:22's Core Values each week (a list of values
can be found on the purpose page of our web site).
We will be meeting every Monday night through August 3. We gather to
eat a pot-luck meal together at 6pm, then have a time of prayer and
Bible study. We are usually done around 8-8:30. We are meeting at the
Boiler Room (220 E. 5th St, Uptown Greenville). Please come join us any
time! A New Day Is Rising
 Do
you have the latest 6:22 album? A New Day Is Rising features eight
original worship songs for only $10! Songs like Chosen Generation, Take
Over Me, Relentless, Red Moon Rising, Everything, I Delight In You, A
New Day Is Rising and Make Us Whole Again. Where can you get it? Come to a 6:22 event or download it below: Worshipfest 2009
Worshipfest is fast approaching - only one month away! Have you been to the Worshipfest web site?
It's got all the details that you need. Here's the basics: August 7-8 @
Open Door Ministries in Winterville with Jonathan Helser, Scott Hobbs,
Brandon Willett and 6:22. Starts at 7pm Friday and at noon on Saturday.
Be there! A Few More Things
Don't forget... 6:22 starts back every Friday night after Worshipfest. First night is Friday, August 14th. Beaty
Bass, 6:22 CORE member and worship leader, just released a CD with his
band The Well. They just got the CDs and they sound awesome. Be their fan on Facebook and contact them for a copy. New 6:22 web site design... coming soon!

theBurn : Unplugged theBURN is continuous priesthood ministry to God through music, prayer and fasting for the well-being of the city of Greenville from 10pm to 10am in the upstairs Lounge at Open Door Ministries. The Burn is a city-wide gathering ("city-wide" simply means we are open to, and want to serve the whole body of Christ in this region, as opposed to one particular church or group). Worship and prayer leaders from our region will take shifts to keep continuous ministry rising to God throughout the night. This Burn is "Unplugged" because the room is small and there will not be full bands. The music will be mostly "solo" worship leaders. The schedule will alternate between one-hour sets of devotional worship and intercessory worship.
For this Burn event we are joining with the prayer ministry at Covenant United Methodist Church for a week of fasting March 1-7. Coffee, water and other drinks will be available at the Burn, but no food is allowed at the gathering. Check out http://prayforgreenville.org/ for the worship leader schedule and more info on theBurn.

If you head over to the purpose page on our web site, you will see that we have added a lot of information.
- We have added a section called Core Values. Our Board of Directors has been praying and working through these values for months. God has been leading us to clarify the "message" of 6:22, and to intentionally express the things for which we stand. These are not new ideas. If you have been to 6:22 gatherings, you will probably be familiar with these concepts. However, we felt it was wise to articulate these values so that we will be less likely to veer off path in the future. You will also notice that the name of Jesus is mentioned in every value on the list. He is most valuable to us.
- A fairly detailed History of 6:22 has also been posted. It is timeline guiding you through our journey so far. There are a lot of details, but still many things were not included. Ideally, we hope to make a video or slideshow to guide you through our history in a visual way. For now, you have to read!

We get a lot of questions asking where we find the songs we sing. Here are the songs we sang at Dwell on Friday night. Hopefully this will answer your questions and also provide some music resources for your personal worship times with God.
