Hey Hey Hey! Haven't blogged in a bit and I'm sure I should've but things have been pretty busy and awesome for the band...we're playing many great shows...doing live radio interviews hahaha...and everyones having a blast punk rockin with us and this past Saturday we got to open for The Independents and The Queers at The Earl in Atlanta! Before I even get to this past Saturday's show I must say thanks to Ibrahim and Kevin of WREK 91.1FM for having us on live for this past Tuesdays Radiobomb punk show. We had a blast chatting up all things rock n roll and those guys played our songs and gave us a microphone for an hour long show to be idiots on the radio. We couldn't have asked for anything cooler and 1-Ups to WREK 91.1 FM for having us. I have a copy of our interview(including plenty hilarioius bits and bloops as we weren't pros at censoring ourselves haha). I will try and possibly upload a bit of the radio show soon. That kicked off the week right and then Saturday nights dream gig @ The Earl in East Atlanta finally arrived. The night was most amazing as The Queers and The Independents were both very very cool to us as well as putting on a most awesome show. We rocked it as hard as ever and thanks to everyone who came out to support and mosh and throw beer and other goodies at our faces as we played...in the crowd at the show was Bobby Moore who runs a very cool Atlanta music scene blog "7" Atlanta" and here is his excerpt on us opening for The Queers @ The Earl... Saturday wrapped up a solid week with an appearance by two legends of unusual origins and Atlanta's best two-piece punk band when The Queers, The Independents, and Jesse Nobody shared the Earl's stage. Jesse Nobody plays energetic, fast-paced punk in a style that leans more toward hardcore than pop. This young group already has a fan base, called "White Panthers," and a plethora of punk scorchers like "Gots Go" and "Nihilism." The band's namesake seemed genuinely thrilled to be on the same bill as The Queers, and he really made the best of this opportunity by getting the crowd pumped for a night of great punk rock. -Bobby Moore You can check out his blogspot for cool band and show reviews here... 7InchAtlantaOn another note we are definitely in the works to record an EP of our most popular songs with you friends and fans and that should be arriving soon with hopefully a swing around the southeast and hopefully further away as well to get it heard. I just want to say thanks for any and all for the support we've been given so far and for all the good times to come...keep the good fight and keep in touch...we'll see you at a show soon no doubt...and just rememeber what this is all about...because we definitely gotta keep reppin for the... Well this past week was a bit of a whirlwind as far as shows are concerned...in a good way I suppose...we actually played 3 shows in 5 days with varying degrees of "success" hahaha...first was at Smith's Olde Bar which was a rockin good time...next up we got asked to slide onto a night at Lenny's on quite short notice but we had fun...then we played Swayze's on the leap day and hopefully opened a few new ears and gained some new friends/fans...all in all it was a very productive week...so now whats to come...we're gonna lay low for the next couple weeks and handle some pressing issues such as...record our 5 song demo and get that all ready to chuck around the globe...plus we need it done so these college radio stations that contacted us will give us airplay...we are going to work on a few new songs to enhance our set for the future...and then we will return with a bang on March 22nd at 141 Moreland House...yes our next show is Saturday March 22nd so mark your calendars...I may possibly be in a all new kilt which will be awesome...maybe Sam will have something new on too...a new "A" hat I dunno haha...should be fun to play a house show where the crowd is standing literally a foot from my face...so everyone should gear up to come to 141 Moreland house for a good punk rock house show...from there we plan on setting up our first shows out of state so stay tooned...thanks for everyone who has come out to support us in these first 5 shows of ours in February...it was definately a great time and we look forward to bigger and better in the future...be sure to check out the new pictures from the past 3 shows...spread the good word about us whenever you can...if you want stickers let us know...maybe we'll have t-shirts at the next show???...and expect to hear more noise from Jesse Nobody very soon...till then keep chasing the cabbage!
White Panthers!!!

Just wanted to say thanks to all that came out to Lenny's Bar this past Monday night...Technical difficulties aside(can't believe my effects pedal died before the first song!!!), we hope that everyone had an awesome time...For our second show ever we definately felt alot more comfortable and screwloose, and hopefully that translated to our performance...Was my guitar playing shoddy yes as it always is, but Sam was awesome on drums and the energy of the crowd was plenty to feed off of...Thanks to all the White Panthers out there who came to support and continually heckled us and helped me yell "White Pantheeeers" while throwing up the "claw" throughout our set...Also it was pretty awesome seeing people throwing those big trashcans across the room and throwing beer cans at my face...Hope I didn't flash anyone too much jumping around in my kilt...It got pretty rowdy for awhile there and thats just the way we like it!...just wanted to say we had a blast and we hope you did too...our next show is coming up quick...
Smiths Olde Bar Monday night Feb 25 Doors at 7pm We go on at 10pm I believe 5 bucks at the door (and I will pay your way if you have no cash because C.R.E.A.M. haha) 21 and up so use your time machine if you must!
We hope anyone and everyone can come out and enjoy some good ole fashioned punk rock...we also should have some more of our silly little stickers made and possibly our little 5 song DIY cd "Le Demo" ready to throw at your head...till then!

Hooray!!!
We have our first shows coming up in the month of February and boy are we excited...You can check our show list to see our upcoming gigs...If tickets are involved and you want an advance ticket just shoot me a message on here or do like a bird call of some sort and I'll swoop down and give you your tickets...probably for free if you ask nice enough(not like I care about the money...yet...haha)...would be awesome to have as many people as possible at our first show ever...The Masquerade on Feb 8th...doors at 7 and we are probably going on at 8 or 845 or so...so yeah any of you kids out there around Atlanta come out and have some fun...you get to see me bouncing around in my kilt and Sam playing his drums like a maniac...will be fun times!
On another note I recently got a cool job where I just deliver pizza like 4 hours or so a day and make enough money to survive haha...Its a pretty PR(punk rock) job...drive in my car...listen to my music...drop off their pizza...get their money...repeat...its simple...fun...and I can just spaz out in the car and be silly while I'm working...so if you are in the range of Blue Moon Pizza order like 15 pies and hope that I show up at your door...
So yah big things poopin for Jesse Nobody in 2008...many shows to come...part time job...no college for awhile(yay!)...hopefully by summer Sam and I will hit the road and play some shows all over the states so look out for that as well...so gather all your buds and come out to see us play some fun punk rock...we can't wait to see yah!...till next time...

Well this is a loud shout for help coming from your best buddy...um yeah thats me heehee...Sam and I have a pretty solid set down...9 songs...20-25 minutes(yeah thats what punk rock power chords gets you...nine 2 minute songs haha)...and so...I'm now asking any and everyone that knows anyone that likes to give new local dudes a chance...tell them theres this black punk rocker kid in Atlanta Georgia named Jesse Nobody that wants to play his music to anyone with or without ears...if you know of any like DIY shows and such that wouldn't mind letting me open or squeeze me in somehow...It doesn't just have to be Atlanta either so let me know...if you know any other avenues for me to get my music heard get at me...I mean I know some bands and such so I'm pretty sure I'll have some stuff set up by the end of November or so but I want to make as many friends and contacts as possible...and lookout for new recordings of all the songs up on my jukebox cause things sound a bit different now that I'm doing a stripped just guitar and drums sound(don't worry it still sounds just as horribly awesome hehe)...thanks to everyone for the kind words of support(and those that spit the venom too)...finally looks like 2008 could be the best year of my life(not that I deal with the concept of "best" very well)...I hope someone out there reads this and wants to help out...give me a promising lead and I'll bake you vegan chocolate chip cookies :)...till we speak again...take care!
