The birthday gig at the Exeter Hall has been postponed as the venue is no more. We are trying to sort out an alternative location so stay tuned.

There will be a public gig to celebrate the band's eleventh birthday. It's at the Exeter Hall pub on Oxford's Cowley Road on 2nd February. See you there!

Regular visitors to this site may have noticed it's been a while since we updated the news sections. So here goes:

Dave has become a dad and has now been one for a year!

Guitarist Richard Brough has also become a dad and is writing an album of fusion music which may well feature some familiar faces.

Singer and bass player Will has also become a dad (hang on, what was in the water last year?). He has completed an album for you fans of noise/electronica under the name of 'Spingere'. The album, 'Coffee-Housing' is available at the iTunes store.

Drummer Richard has not been fathering children (as far as we know) but he has been on an exciting career journey with Marillion. Stating as the merch guy, Rich has progressed through the ranks as a drum tech and is now the band's tour manager. Possibly the busiest man in music, Richard still gets home long enough to play drums with the Beaver. You can even see Richard explaining the ups and downs of life on the road in Marillion's documentary 'Colours and Sound.'

The big news for this year is that the band is celebrating its tenth anniversary. To celebrate we are planning a special gig in Oxford although it may have to wait until next year. Keep watching for details on where and when.

This is just meant to be a quick way to access important information. We hope to have some public gigs later in the year - after all this is the Beaver's 10th anniversary!

The next few moths are likely to be quiet for the band (our drummer is touring the world with Marillion and a few of us have, or are about to have babies). But, by linking to this site you can request to be notified of new blog entries and that way you can stay up to date with gig news and any other exciting developments.
