Mark your calendars for the inaugural Reckless Kelly's Celebrity Softball Jam! Sunday, April 19th at the Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas will be a great day with a super-jam concert and celebrity softball game featuring your favorite Texas musicians, professional athletes, and both radio and television personalities from across Texas.
Get a good seat early and watch players like former major-leaguers Greg Swindell, Brooks Kieschnick, Glenn Wilson and Kirk Dressendorfer, as well as NASCAR legend Kyle Petty and others. Playing softball and music will be friends like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Kevin Fowler, Ray Benson, Micky & the Motorcars, Jason Boland, Paula Nelson Band, Roger Creager, Randy Rogers Band and Dale Watson. (Don't be surprised when a few other familiar faces show up as well!)
Tickets are just $12 in advance and fans younger than 12 are admitted free with an adult! Gates open at 1pm and the Softball Game begins at 2pm. Bring a blanket because at 3:30pm fans will be allowed onto the field for the concert in centerfield. Food and beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be available.
A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to Little League Baseball of Austin, The Miracle League at Town & Country, and the College Scholarship Fund of Elks Lodge #201. There will also be a silent auction with lots of great items, located inside the United Heritage Center on the first base side of the stadium concourse.
