Kidding!
Now that I successfully lied to get your attention, I (Nate, by the way. How are you?) have scores of updates for you. Like, probably a year's worth of updates. Actually, I should first check when the last blog was. Just a sec.
Doop dee-dooby doo...
Ok. Holy Hercules! The last blog was Friday, June 15, 2007. There is much to be discussed!!
First of all, we have NEW MEMBERS. Nick and Bryan are no longer with us (still alive though) and have been replaced by Josh and Tyler, respectively. Also, I have been replaced by a robot named Zapatron5 (believe me, he's a much better singer than I was). Is it odd that I'm still referring to Nate as "I", since I just revealed I'm actually a robot named Zapatron5? I hope so.
Lori is now the only original member of the band. She's doing well.
Ok, seriously now. The current BRAND NEW lineup is: Nate, Lori, Josh, and Tyler. Josh on bass and Tyler on guitar. Please welcome them heartily! They are super great.
Although Nick is no longer in the band, he is still making AWESOME art in the form of photography. Please visit his website and support his work!
http://www.eccentricphotography.net/Ok. This next part of the blog is dedicated to OFFICE related band stuff. A few really, REALLY cool things have happened ever since our song "Pam Pong" appeared in my friend Maggie's EXCELLENT documentary
Fandomicity.
First, Jenna Fisher, who plays Pam on the show, posted the song on her
official MySpace page. Holy crap! It was amazing. I didn't think it would last long (and sure enough, it was changed to something else after about a month) so I took a
screen capture! Anyway, thanks for that definitely goes to all the Office fans who bombarded her comments with requests to put the song up. I still remember when my mom (an Office fan herself) came running up to me saying "
Why didn't you tell me Pam put your song on her MySpace??" and I had no idea what she was talking about until she showed me. Amazing! So thanks to all the Office fans for that. And Jenna.
As if that wasn't enough! Shortly after that, we were mentioned in ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY! Ok, it was actually just a passing mention at the end of an article about
OfficeTally. (And congrats to Tanster on that!) But still! To be mentioned at all in one of the biggest entertainment magazines in the world was pretty freaking fun.
Here's the online version of the article!By this point it was getting ridiculous. Because after that, we got a call from Larry King... ok. Not true. I'm not sure Larry King even knows how to use a phone.
Anyway, that's pretty much it for the Office stuff.
Now for our debut album. It's been over two years in the making. As far as titles go, we are leaning towards
Stop, Rock, & Roll. We're currently working on album cover art, as well as... finishing the album. We'll keep you posted on that. At this point we have like 20 new songs that were written after we recorded the album, so by the time it gets released, we'll probably have Album 2 already planned out. I have a feeling next year is going to be intense.
Also, the very first thing we ever recorded, like three years ago, was an EP called "Coulda Been Worse". It got a really great review at
PunkOrNothing.com. My favorite line:
"Seriously, if these guys aren't big in the next few years, there's something really wrong with the current music industry." Actually, there's an even better line at the very end, but I won't print it here. Yep, it's so awesome, it's unprintable.
We also had a few interviews online, if you want to check them out!

This Is Pop Music (My friend Eric's website; he is made of awesome!)
Anyway, that about wraps it up I guess.
- Nate (aka Zapatron5)
PS - I added about a bajillion new pictures to our MySpace page spanning the entire...span...of the band. So check them out!
