Current mood:  excited

Elephant stoned will be expanding in the near future to 2 different venues. Im on with having Elephant stoned linked together at 3 different venues. so there will be one Elephant stoned every week but in a different town, With the UKY club Halifax being the home and the biggest night of the month.
The new venues will be in Huddersfield, Bradford and eventually Leeds.

so calling all bands from hudds and brad to get in touch, as this is the start of something big on the indie scene.

The new venues are brilliant and will be undisclosed untill further notice.

 OLEXYfresh- promotions is proud to announce A new event breathing new life into sundays in halifax.
Once a month. BLINDED by the GROOVES, will start at 4pm on the day in question and go through till people are actualy blind.
The music will be a fusion of sexy vocal uplifting, soulful house old and new, expect alot of hands in the air piano moments and a high energy atmosphere driven by some groovy bass lines by a wicked sound system.
Maggies is a wicked venue, with an underground feel, and this is definitly the birth of something big!
This first event will be free entry, and there will be some wicked drinks offers on offer.

Expect bigger guest djs monthly, + live percussion and themed fancy dress.

unfortunatly due to the venue double booking, the 8th of march elephant stoned cant not take place. Its a big shame as the night is just starting to gather momentom.

However will look towards the massive massive april the 5th gig, with t4 mobile act stars REVENUE coming all the way from peterbrough to headline the gig along with local stars I.E , PETROSS, SCUFFERS ROMANCE and  13 LIGHTS.  This promises to be a huge night, so get it in ur diarys!!

Body: Olexfresh- promotions is pleased to annouce tha REVENUE will play at the april elephant stoned.
The band are from peterbrough, they have been gaining massive media attention the last few months , featuring on channels 4s mobile act. Revenue came 2nd in the comp out of thousands of hopeful bands. It was to everyones amazment that they did not win.

After the sucess of the Clone roses in halifax last october, Olexyfresh is proud to anounce that the guys from manchester will be returning to halifax to Rock the October Elephant stoned 2008 @ the uky club, halifax.

Currently on with confirming Manchester dj legend Clint Boon to dj, And also Mani (The Original Stone Roses Bassist)  Is on the cards aswell.

Tickets will go on sale later in the year. Just keep checking the page for updates.

Also as elephant stoned is growing Month by month, exepect some wicked signed bands headlining in the near future!!

See you all on fri night, for the 1st elephant stoned of 2008, promises to be another cracker!!

To be held at the uky club halifax. 4 to 5 top quality young talented bands will play monthly followed by a top indie dj starting in november.

Venue is class and has a late licence plus cheap booze!

Posters and flyers will be in circulation after the roses gig is over.

Pleased to confirm the support for this wicked night ahead,

These two bands are first class talent from the local area and are destined for big things.

PETROSS- winners of local young battle of the bands comp earning rave reviews. check them out on my top friends.

TENFLOORS- winners of the pulse battle of the bands 2006. Again earning rave reviews. Also have there first single coming out in november called (apple tree), so keep your eyes and ears peeled. again they are on my top friends.

Tickets selling very fast so its advised to be quick to not be dissapointed.
