These were taken on Kidian's camera. Many thanks to him for making me a folder of them on my computer before he went back to Japan. Since he's going to be deployed all over for the next year, I uploaded them for him.

Enjoy!

I start out off stage and enter from the right. The yellow subtitles mark the sisters, the green subtitles mark Frederick and the purple text marks Mabel (me). Probably best known for being featured in the animated film An American Tail, the song Poor Wandering One was written by Gilbert and Sullivan for the opera, The Pirates of Penzance which premiered in New York City in 1879. This was my one and only performance as Mabel in the 1998 production by the Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts. It was a morning performance, which is why I am sometimes really reaching to hit the high notes. Nonetheless, I'd say my voice was at its prime at this age (I was 16 years old). The note I hit at about 4:45 is probably the highest note I've ever managed to reach onstage while still sounding good. Rate the video on YouTube

I had just turned 14. I'm not sure if this was taped in August or September, but I think this was the first day of musical theater class where they asked us to perform our audition song again. I ran out of breath at the end because my heart was pumping so hard from nervousness. I got much better during these years. I will later upload a performance at the end of junior year of high school. You'll see much improvement. Comment on YouTube Back to homework I go!

It's weird. I'm 26 and once again I'm back in school after taking a break during the Summer and Fall of 2007 to begin production on the ./shutdown web series. Now, I am enrolled in yet another mass media class (my 3rd now) at Penn State and I will be taking my third (and final!) Spanish class at a local community college. Just got confirmation from Penn that it will transfer. w00t!
It'll be another couple of years before I graduate, I think. I am only taking two classes per semester, but I am really worried about whether I will be able to pull it off. Right now with just one online class at Penn and a full time job I'm only having to stay up about an hour later. However, starting next week I will be going to my Spanish class two evenings a week. In February, David and I will start writing season 2 of the show and then in March we'll be starting production again.
I am dreading March and April the most. I honestly don't know if I will be able to handle two full time jobs plus school part-time. I consider the show a full time job since production time means editing every night and shooting almost every weekend. Yet, at the same time I am very frustrated that I can't handle school full time anymore. I am really in a rush now that I have decided I want to go to graduate school.
Ah well. Take it one day at a time, as they say.

Sex is your object, and you have a LOT of it. Doubtless, you've figured out how easy it is for a dominant, assertive woman to have as many and whichever partners as she chooses. You're in control, you know what you want, and you get it, right there. It's highly likely you have a nice body, and it's even more likely we're getting all turned on right now writing this... You're generally careful with your actions and words, but your test answers indicate you've hurt some people, drawn some blood. This means one of two things. Either you're calculating, and pain is just part of your game plan, or hurting the occasional guy is just the unfortunate, but natural, byproduct of your liberated sexual existence... Our tendency is to believe the latter: you're willing to engage men on a basic sexual level, and clearly they're attracted to you. It's understandable that a few might get overly attached, and sometimes harshness is the only way for you to escape: you've got to cut your way out. Second year in a row. Had so much fun with Flounder, Zog and J9. However, this will probably be our last year going to a Brotherhood New Year's party. They don't play enough good 80s music. I didn't hear a single Madonna or Michael Jackson song. It's like they purposefully were playing the B-sides to a bunch of New Wave bands or something. I only have 5 hours to compact an entire decade into an enjoyable dancing experience. Come on, people!

Get it while it's hot and spicy! Episode 6: DDR Hero (Part 3 of 4) features guest (and voice) cameos by some very cool people. We also hope to share some amazing outtakes with you in the post-season break. Watch DDR Hero part 3 Now!
Don't forget to add the ./shutdown web series, as well as our production company, Kill9 Studios, to your MySpace Friends List I'd also like to thank our amazing new assistant editors, Sanns, Courtney (Lise), Robert and Lawrence, for putting some scene rough cuts together as well as editing behind-the-scenes footage (which you will see very soon). Sanns, in particular, edited a splendiferous video of Tim Cross (Chaz) shopping for his sexy green dress featured in episodes 3 and 4. The production diary comes out next week, and the final installment of DDR Hero premieres Jan. 14. The two-part season finale is slated for Jan. 21 and 28. Happy Mars Day!
