Lets Rock Rock'nRoll Camp for Girls and Boys ages 10-18 @ The Metropolitan Learning Center in Portland.

The Lets Rock 2 performance on July 24 at the Metropolitan Learning Center was a rousing success. Over 150 audience members crowded the auditorium to watch sets by The Electric Pink Ponies, Pandoras Sox, and The Yellow and Red Squares. All the bands played original songs as well as covers by their favorite rock bands, including Ozzy, Guns and Roses, Aerosmith, and Survivor. Lets Rock campers will appear live on the air on KPSU 1450 am campus radio on Aug 13th at 1pm. Tune in and hear some young rockers perform their original songs!

This year we're hoping to see as many new and returning faces as possible. Don't be shy! Sign up early! Please tell/bring your friends! The more interested people, the more fun for all of us. This isn't a series of boring classes. It's a high energy, creative and social atmosphere.

The July 30-August 16 session of the camp is for all levels and ages. You don't have to be a virtuoso to rock with us. If you've been to the camp before, and/or feel you are fully "ready to rock" please consider signing up for Lets Rock Level 2 held from July 16-26.

Portland, Oregon, 05/21/07— On May 11 the Metropolitan Learning Center
auditorium (2033 NW Glisan St) hosted a "Teen Music Night"concert featuring
"Our Fangs, Our P...", "Still Pending", "Pocket Sized Surgeons",
and "The Xeric". This event served in part to bring attention to the MLC's
"Let's Rock" summer music programs and was sponsored by Portland Parks and
Recreation, and the MastanMusic Hour Podcast (www.mastanmusic.com/podcast). The concert was a great success and the bands were really fun to listen to and watch! Our thanks to them for doing such a bang up job!.
