Here's the deal. We've shifted the release around a bit due to some label/distribution business. We now have some new official dates to work with.

The album will be released in two stages:

1. Available on vinyl only starting July 11th (digital download codes available with vinyl purchase). This will only be available at our shows until our "official release."

2. Flameshovel Records will be releasing the album on September 9th digitally, on CD and on vinyl. The whole nine yards!

Basically, if you'd like to hear the album two months prior to it's official release, come see us on tour this summer! We'll be hitting the east coast, midwest, the south and Canada in July and August. More details soon to follow.

Hi friends,

This Saturday night we're going to play a show at the Subterranean. We're going to play new, new songs, and we're going to sweat, and jump, and occasionally shout in unison.

There will also be handclaps, and at least one section called PartyTime. I don't want to give too much away.
I can't wait to see you all.

love janie

More updates soon!

We're f-ing pumped to be playing our first show at the Subterranean since it turned ALL AGES. Hand stamp or none, come out and high five on Friday the 13th. Ooh, spooky!

If we really work hard this week, there will be new t-shirt options. Maybe a new song or two. Maybe costumes, or maybe everyone will get a haircut. Maybe.

[5 words that rhyme with "skies"],

Hey friends -

We're gearing up to announce some shows with The Long Winters, taking place all around our fair midwest. Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, and Ann Arbor, we're in... we'll be posting details as soon as we have them.

In the meantime, don't forget to vote Chicago-style (meaning deep-dished, and often) for us over at SPIN magazine's Band of the Year contest.

Grab a drink, grab a glass,

Hi friends -

We have added two weeks of shows with Rahim... we'll be covering the midwest, then we're headed to the south, and we'll end up in Philadelphia. If anyone is interested in hanging posters for us in Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, or Atlanta, drop us a message and we'll give you free goods and free tickets.

See you there. We can't wait.

Greetings friends -

So this guy in Cincinnati decided to quickly and quietly close his rock club. Therefore, we will not be playing our show Friday night at Alchemize with Human Television.

Instead, we're inviting them to Chicago to celebrate this surprise off-day, hopefully with night swimming and barbeque. Then we'll all pack up and meet you and your friends at Schuba's in Chicago on Saturday night (9PM).

Hope all is well, and well-air-conditioned,

Bound Stems
