Expand your wardrobe with 8 minutes to Burn

It is Summer.  It's hot and quiet, but the music still plays. Many of your favorite bands are playing at the summer festivals. You should make it to at  least one festival,  I recommend S.F. Outside Lands August 22nd-25th in Golden Gate Park San Fransisco.  If you make it to a festival or not we should celebrate the Sun on July 19th at The Hut with 8 Minutes to Burn and The Tryst.  Same great music and a New Bassist.  We wish Brock the best in Normal, Illinois and also invite the challenge of jammin with a new comer.

First we would like to thank all that came out to Iraq Aid 2008.  It is very kind of all of you to support fellow humans.

Second we have all, which includes you, been waiting for an 8 Minutes to Burn album. With all the CD release parties going around town it is a wonder 8 Minutes to Burn isn't having the biggest and baddest one.  Well, it might please you a bit to know that the process has begun.  Last weekend while participating in Iraq Aid 2008 Saturday and taking the funk to the east side Sunday we were also in the studio both days puttin it on wax. 

We have no release date, so keep your eyes and ears open.  Who knows where and when it will be available...better make sure to be at the shows to find out.

May 24th - The Hut... IRAQ AID 2008, tons of bands, all proceeds go to Iraqi civilians and American soldiers. More info TBA

We're going into the recording studio at the end of May to record our first EP. We'll be at OG7 Studios throughout May and June laying down the funky phatness.
