This is Alec at The Joint. The Joint is NEVER Pay-to-Play, but we are Promote to Stay! You are
not required to sell tickets for our show, but must agree to meet the
minimum attendance requirement of 20+ on Sun-Wed. & 30+ on Thurs-Sat.
This is a verbal agreement and determines weather or not you will be
booked again at The Joint (and it keeps us from having to force the sale
of pre-sale tickets).
We typically will book the first show on a Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday
night. If all goes well, we can then discuss booking weekend dates. We
also ask that you keep our show at least two weeks away from any others
you have booked in or around the LA area.
Also, let me know if there are any band’s you might want to add to the
bill. It is much more effective to book and cross promote with bands you
know and play well with. The goal is to build and promote a night, not
just a slot.
