moore's law predicts that transistors will get smaller and smaller, eventually being only a few atoms thick, at which point the computer will cease to shrink; that time is more than a decade away. movie tattoos will be an option: fiber optic implants. remember the scene in superman with marlon brando as superman's father in the cave of crystal computers? maybe this is a plausible scenario for future mechanics. disagree/agree?
