EAR/Cop intl., are just about to release a four CD box with very much music on it. One of the songs included is a Severe Illusion song called "My Car is Buning in Hell", and it was created especially for this box. Also our side project Instans can be found here with the song "Robot", also this created just for this box.

Thank you all who came to see us at Klubb Bodytåget last saturday. And thanks to all you who has the club, the guys in Run Level Zero who we played with and Anders (The Pain Machinery) and Jan (Marsupium Massacre) who helpt us out with drums and electronics live. And pigface, of course.

It was a great night! And you who missed it can at least look at a few photos from the gig in our photosection.

(And yes, I am aware that most, well all, this concerns is Swedish, swedish speaking people. So its kind of pointless writing this in english. But on the other hand, writing in swedish would look just as stupid since everything else here is in english. So lets keep it this way.)

A huge THANK YOU to every single one of you people who showed up at the X Jahre Gotenklang in Rostock, Germany.

Yes. After a year and a half, we have decided to play live again. First off will be a show on the Gotenklang ten years celebration, Rostock, Germany on May 2, 2009. There we will play some old songs along with new songs from the upcomming fourth album, due for release later this year. Also playing are Frontal (www.myspace.com/frontalebm). See you there.

So we finally decided to break the silence on this  issue. Yes, we are working on a new album and it will be released some time during 2009. The plan is a DCD, so expect around two hours of distortion, chaos and attitude problems. It will, however, NOT be a 'main' disc and 'bonus' disc. There will be no remixes or fillers of any kind. This will be a full scale assault on everything you ever dared to believe in.

Oh, and... yes. We've uploaded a short clip from the track 'Lost' here on myspace. It is available in an exclusive version on a new compilation from Electro Arc  http://www.MySpace.com/..electroarc . But it will also turn up on the new Severe Illusion album.

Electro Bosom.Buddies Music ist eine Spezial-Compilation mit verschiedenen

Künstlern und Bands, dem Genre EBM gewidmet. Der herausgebende

Zusammensteller "Intrendent" ist seit dem "Golden Age" in den achtziger Jahren,

dieser Musik zugetan. Was damals mit analogen Synthis als Old School EBM

begann, wird hier weitergeführt oder auch als "experienced post EBM" zu den Hörern

und Tänzern transportiert. Stilmittel sind immer noch schweißgebadete Oberkörper,

Zahnräder, Hämmer und camouflage Bekleidung sowie blank geputzte Stiefel. Wer hier

Militarismus sieht, hat die danach Zeit der Industrialisierung, in Ihrer Jugendbewegung,

nicht richtig verstanden. EBM entstand fast zeitgleich in England, Belgien und

Deutschland, es soll hier keine Ahnenforschung betrieben werden oder diesbezügliche

Namen genannt werden, wer sich die Compilation anhört wird Vergleiche zu den

damaligen Pionieren erahnen. Schwerpunkt dieser Compilation kommt aus Schweden

und Mitteldeutschland mit jeweils 5 Beiträgen, gefolgt von Belgien und Westdeutschland.

England, Niederlande, USA und Kolumbien. Mit 19 Beiträgen zum Thema EBM und einer Spielzeit

von fast 70 Minuten kann hier trotzdem nur ein kleiner zeitgeistlicher Aspekt

wiedergegeben werden. Tanzende Stiefel .... es darf auf der Tanzfläche gestumpt und

gestampft werden und keiner fällt um, jeder gegen jeden und doch alle beisammen.

Yes, we've taken the old web site at severeillusion.com off the internet. And it is not very likely to come back either. We did this becuase we have not been using it much lately, and it was full of silly bugs and stuff that we were far to lazy to fix. That also means old email adresses are now gone too.

It is our intention to put more info here on myspace becuase of this, but we have no idea when that will happen. Most importantly though... We are still here, and we will contiue doing whatever it is we've been doning for almost a decade by now.
