Current mood:  anxious

I'm in no mood to write anything. I up loaded two new song-things however and I thought some folks may want to hear them.

Hey, I was asked to play live! For true!  I said no!

It was to be a short session at a three-day long electronic music festival down town. I'm assuming I would have been sandwiched in between 18 other acts in a small corner, but it was nice to be asked. Nonetheless, the humiliation to success ratio was stacked way to heavily on the side of shame for me to even consider doing it.

Let me know what, if anything, you think of the latest.

Here is my fourth posted tune. I really, really like the band/guy called Tipsy and tried to do something in that vein. Of course it wasn't particularly successful but it's weird enough to be something. And I do like that I figured out how to include bits from films.

So I posted these songs and now a total of eleven people have heard them. Eleven! Just one week and I'm already in the double digits! More than that, my "songs" have been played for a total of twenty-two times; which means that some people have listened more than once! Am I so pathetic that I really find this exciting? *sigh* YeeeahThe internet truly is a wondrous thing.

Also I have received friendly comments. Pat, who is noble and good, said he liked Absolute Mess, but kept waiting for it to go all electro-crazy. Good idea! Maybe a remix! Absolute Messier? (tee hee)

Some folks have even asked questions about my "inspiration". Hoo boy, how cooool is this? Well, okay, one person asked and it was my wife. But I figured since I have space to blog I'll say a sentence or two as I post new songs.

Speaking of new songs... Thanks, Colleen, for declaring your lack of hate.

As for this song (AM), Pat also got the vodka reference. The sound font I used for the hook is Nordic Fiddle. And nothing says 'Nordic" like vodka. I know. I've been. I drank.

 Skoal!
