Well I'm back in the states and I'm ecstatic about seeing my daughter again.

MISA LOVE, TERRI NIXON SMITH, AND I HAVE BEEN HAVING A BALL.

We are soooo happy!!!

Those are my girls and they saved my life..I will forever be eternally grateful to them and love them dearly.

I've also been reunited with my wonderful manager and partner Trudie Eppich her loyalty knows no boundaries and I will cherish her forever.

I've hooked up with my Soul  brothers David Laviscount and Azel Brown and I thank GOD for them.

They set my spirit right..

I consider myself extremely blessed to be able to travel around the world and entertain people as well as get paid for it.

THANK YOU GOD.

I've been living in China for practically two years and it's served as an emotional clearing house for me.

The mighty Joe Mahone has rejoined me over in Shanghai and together we're going to put together a band that represents all of our ideals and goals and then kick ass all over the world with it.

Nobody holds down a beat like Joe and I don't want to step on a stage without him anymore.

That motherfucker knows my heartbeat rhythms and he plays it accordingly.

I can only hope I sing well enough for him.

I miss Andy Arnold on guitar and Rico Haring on keyboards - two of the most talented cats I've ever worked with.

One day we'll grace a stage together again.

I had the opportunity to do my thing in Helsinki, Finland and I must tell you it was absolutely wonderful and enjoyable.

I look forward to going back in 2010 to do my play "EVOLUTION".

There are a lot of people I really and truly care about Shanghai, China.

I LOVE THEM ALL FIERCELY FOR DIFFERENT REASONS AND WHATEVER I CAN BE FOR THEM OR DO FOR THEM, I WILL DO NO MATTER WHAT.

I'm getting ready to start my next round of shows at the Park Hyatt and I'm working on some music that will get my recording career in gear and from that point on with GODS blessings, it's on.

ALL I WANT TO DO IS PROVIDE FOR MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER AND TAKE CARE OF HER.

HER MOTHER TERRI IS DOING A PHENOMENAL JOB IN BRINGING HER UP IN THE WAY SHE SHALL GO AND NOT DEPART AND I 'M SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT.

I miss Shanghai and I miss my dear friends there.

I will be so happy to be back, but then again in spite of minor trials and tribulations...I'M HAPPY ALL OF THE TIME NO MATTER WHERE I AM!!!

That's right my beloved...SOUL BROTHER NUMBER NEW RETURNS TO SHANGHAI, CHINA THIS VERY EVENING!!!

I've been running around like crazy rearranging my life - adding people and KICKING OTHER PEOPLE OUT!!!

I haven't had a chance to blog like I should, but after having been in China since March and returning home a few weeks ago, I'm on my way back to start my new business venture at The Marriott hotel and it's going to be a STOOOOOOOOOOONE gas!

I'm packing more heat than an oven this time around and my show is going to be tight and controlled so that I can slay 'em nightly!

I thank GOD in heaven for the loyal following I have in Shanghai and I will perform weith every ounce of energy in my body to make sure that they get the best show in the world becaue they're the best audience and they deserve it.

I've enjoyed my time at the House Of Blues and Jazz and who knows? I'd like to think that I'll play there again, but right now my home is the Marriott hotel and I'm going to make it my own and entertain everyone who walks through those doors.

Right now I'm looking forward to reuniting with my partner, the wonderful Anne Evenou and making some great music as well as some new adventures in China.

My fabulous daughter MISA LOVE wil be coming back over to visit with me and that's going to be a blast again.

I’m on my way back to China y’all!!!

And I couldn’t be happier!! The club (The House Of Blues And Jazz) has relocated to a brand new location on the Bund (one of the most beautiful locations in China) and I’m going to be the opening act. They’ve chosen me to christen the new place and I just hope "the building can stand a little soul because they sho’ got a lot comin’ on" -that’s a quote from James Brown 1967 at the Apollo Theatre, but it’s appropriate and he would have wanted me to use it!!!

I’m so looking forward to seeing all of my friends and loved ones that are awaiting my arrival. I’m also looking forward to the peace of mind these trips bring. It seems that prior to everyone of these international trips I make, I must do spring cleaning in my heart, my soul, and my spirit.

There are some people who are just toxic garbage and even though they may not mean any harm, their mere presence in your life can drain your spirit because there’s always some bullshit with these people. So I’ve got the broom out and I’m doing it again...with relish and a big ass smile on my face!!!

MY PRECIOUS DAUGHTER AND HER WONDERFUL MOTHER are going to visit me this time. I’m very happy about - happy for all of the shopping that Terris going to do and happy to be in another country with my little angel.

MISA LOVE means the absolute world to me and she’s got the heart and soul of an entertainer already. I’m so proud of her.

But yeah folks, I’m fidna have a funky good time in China and then from there it’s on to England and then back to Asia in Macau and Hong Kong. I’ve got a project that I’m working on that’s going to raise some sand here in America when I get back so I’m looking forward to that as well.

Ain’t nothing changed but the weather - all those that really and truly love me as I really and truly love them are in my prayers and I take a piece of them with me just as I leave a piece of myself with them.

a great man once said, "....without humps there’d be no getting over.....".

Well I’ve gotten over some pretty major humps and from here on out I’m going to be the best Carlton I can be.

You see I’ve got it on good authority that I’m one of GODS children and if you know anything about history you know that you don’t tamper with GODS children.

So those that would seek to humble me ( A proud black man), and those that would seek to punish me as well as those that would seek to censor me - they will have tough row to hoe in this coming year.

Denzel may be Americas Gangster, but I’m GODS gangster. I’ve paid for the sins of my father and as I walk forward head held high, chest stuck out, I’m so prepared to get up and do my thing, it’s gonna be a frightening testimonial to all I believe in when I "G" off on that downbeat!

I LOVE AND ADORE MY PRECIOUS MISA LOVE MORE AND MORE EACH AND EVERYDAY.

There’s another very special baby that I must acknowledge - her name is Symone and she makes me so happy whenever I’m in her presence. GOD bless her and MISA as they move forward in their lives.

People, people!!!

My shiow at B.B.Kings and the Blue Note on January 2nd and the 4th respectively have both been cancelled.

At present I'm on my way to Hong Kong to perform at the premiere of Nicole Kidmans new film, when I get back I'll go into detail as to what happened and what I plan to do moving forward in my career.

Everyone who has been there for me and with me all this time...my heartfelt thanks.  My deepest love and appreciation for all of your support.

I've just finished recording the music that will make it all worth your while, check for it soon.
