Hey Everybody,

Just thought I’d take some time to say hi to all our fans, and thank you for your continued support!  The Thai version of the new album "The One" was soft launched on the 27th of March, and is currently sold out at most retail stores, and initial feedback has been great.

We had a good time in Singapore at the Mosaic Festival, and would like to thank all our fans in Singapore for coming out to see us.

We will have our official launch party on 3rd April at Baryantree Ratchada, located behind Esplanade, at 4:00 PM.  Everyone is invited, so if you’re free, we’d love to see you there!  Also, our second MV will premier on the 3rd.

As for the English version of the album, it will be included in the limited editon packages only, although we are currently looking into printing some English CD’s for sale in Thailand and overseas.  Also, the new songs will be available in English via ITunes soon.  We’ll let you know as soon as possible.

Lately we’ve been busy promoting our album, visiting radio stations and stuff like that, and rehearsing everyday, and we are all really looking forward to playing the new songs.  We are really proud of this album, and honestly believe that it is the best the band has ever made.

We’d also like to thank Greg Reely, for mixing and mastering this album, and for working so hard to give us this great sound!

Thanks to Amok Alex, of Project Reloaded, for his continued support, and Rang and I had a great time drinking with you!

Finally, thanks to our manager D.Pat.  We really enjoyed your visit over here, and thank you for your tireless work...

Long Distance - Silly Fools

I try to close my eyes
But it's no use…I won't get to sleep tonight
I just can't deny
Since you've been gone…Hardly feels like I'm alive

I lie, I try to convince myself
That everything is alright
But I know if truth be told
I'm tired of lying…

(Chorus)
I'm trying to reach you
And I'll keep dialing till I get through
You know I'm dying to see you
And I can't make it on my own

The sun begins to rise…
But I've lost count…Of the days that have passed by
When will you arrive?
It's been too long…Since I've had you by my side

Sometimes, I manage to bide my time
I act like everything is fine
But I know that without you
Inside I'm dying…

(Chorus)

And the days…feel like weeks
Feel like months…like years
It feels like time is standing still

I don't know how much more
I can take of this…I've had enough of this…

It's been so long…Since the last time
I try to be so strong…But without you
I'm losing my mind…

(Chorus)

Hello SF Fans

Ton, Rang & Tor

Well, here we are almost one year since we traveled to Canada to record "Mini.' It has been an exciting year, full of change and challenge. SF has grown and evolved over the past year, and without your support we would not be here. So, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you for accepting Ben as a member of SF, we are so fortunate to have met Ben and we could not be happier that he is a SillyFool.

There are many individuals that we must thank for their incredible support over the past year.  Most important of course, is our Fan Base from Thailand for accepting the changes within SF. In particular, there are a few individuals that have provided their support beyond  the ordinary, just to list  a couple; we would like to personally thank  Tom SillyFools and Aunwar_SillyFools. We would also like to acknowledge all the incredible work that Piyobkk from Japan, provides for the music scene in Thailand.  Piyobkk devotes so much of her time and energy to provide an accurate description of the current events within the pop culture of Thailand. (Check out her blog: Sillyfools.exblog.jp)

Thank you

We know that most people do not like change; however, in this circumstance we did not have a choice. We have grown through the challenges of the past year. Today we are stronger than ever and our love for creating new music has been revived!!

Over the past year, many individuals have shared their incredible talents to help SF and we are so fortunate to have made so many great friends. Firstly, we would like to thank Andre and Chris. They are truly creative geniuses. Thanks Guys for a Great New Logo. This new logo represents the new strength within the band for this "New Era of SillyFools."

Amok Alex from the Radio Station in Germany - "Project Reloaded". We cannot thank you enough for supporting SF in Germany and the airplay for our tracks.

It was so great to meet you and thanks for coming to Thailand to interview SF

Alex you're the shit…. Say Hi to Germany!!!!!

We would also like to thank all the radio stations across Canada for playing "Stay Away". Here's the list. "A big thanks from a little band from Thailand."  And a big thanks to Yvonne at Last Tango for all your long hours and effort to introduce SF to the music directors across Canada. Also, a big thanks to Joe at RDR Music for your guidance and advice.

at heart.  We have come so far in the year that has passed since you took the

helm, and today we have an excellent website, we are listed on Musicane and ITunes worldwide, are getting airplay in a number of countries worldwide, and have a growing network of business and personal contacts all

of which are thanks to you.  To say that we wouldn't be where we are today without you is an understatement, and we as a band are deeply indebted

to you for your priceless advice, boundless support, and everything else.

We have chosen to record our new songs with English lyrics, not to ignore our Thai Fans, but to create a path for all Thai Bands to share their Great Music with the World. There are so many great bands in Thailand and we hope that our efforts provide an opportunity for them to be heard by Fans around the World.

Our new Album will include both English Songs and Thai Songs and we hope to release the full Album in February 08.  In the meantime, we have released a New Single on our page.

And We Ain't Teasin'! No Games! Just Music!

We hope that you like the new track.  Please send us your comments.

We always love to hear from you.

Our fans are the only reason we make New Music!

So in closing, SF is alive and happy to be making new music. Thanks for making this possible.

THANK YOU… THANK YOU…. THANK YOU

HOPE YOU ENJOY THE NEW TRACK !

Greeting from Canada;

Thought I would share the news of Silly Fools from Canada. Silly Fools are poised to become the ambassadors for Thai music in North America. You can be sure that the Fools will make you proud to be Thai. Everyone  in Canada, who has heard the music of Silly Fools is blown away...they are truly world class. As of today, the single "Stay Away" has been featured on 10 radio stations across Canada.

The 5 songs from the EP are now available on iTunes and we are pleased with the downloads to date. The EP will be released as a Self Titled CD in Canada and the United States this summer. There are many SF fans in Canada who can't wait to see "The Fools" in concert.

We are also coordinating a tour in a few US cities in December and will keep you posted as dates are confirmed.

I will  post any developments as they unfold from around the world and in closing, I would like to thank you all for sharing this great band from Thailand with the rest of the world.

Hey Everybody,

Just wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes! I was touched that so many people remembered my birthday, and just want to say that Silly Fools is a band with some of the best fans! I just got back today from Kanchanaburi, where we all went for the weekend. I had to come back a day early, but we had a good time, just hanging out, BBQing and having a few drinks.

P.S. For those of you who went to San Miguel Fest, I'm sorry I couldn't perform better, but I lost my voice. I'll try to make it up to you in the future...

Just a quick update on what we've been up to. Today we had a photo shoot
with our friends Andre and Chris at Re-Feel RCA. We're all really looking forward
to seeing this new set of pictures, and are really indebted to these guys for their
time, effort, and talent. Chris is also putting the finishing touches on the new logo,
which should be out soon as well.

We'd also just like to thank Voices Magazine for all their support and enthusiasm.
They have done a great job with the mini-site, and I am really looking forward to
reading the article.

Finally we want to thank all the fans from different countries who have shown interest
in helping promoting the band, or just spreading the word about us in their localities.
Thank you all so much, and check back for the new pictures!

Benjamin Jung Tuffnell
Lead Vocals

Silly Fools frontman, Benjamin Tuffnell, born Jung Jung Ho on (or about) May 13th 1975 in Osan, Korea, was adopted by Glenn and JoAnne Tuffnell of Berkley Heights, New Jersey on December 3rd 1975.

As a child, Tuffnell grew up in suburban Detroit, Michigan. The youngest of four children, it was Tuffnell's older brothers Steve and John who were the first to introduce him to music, at a young age Tuffnell listened to bands like The Who, Rush, The Rolling Stones, The Clash, Van Halen, and AC/DC. While in Michigan, Tuffnell also began to study violin at the age of 6. After progressing quickly through the Suzuki program, Tuffnell changed instructors and learned how to read music, and by the age of 8, was playing violin in youth chamber groups in the area.

In 1987, the Tuffnell family moved back to the east coast, settling in Basking Ridge, NJ, and Benjamin auditioned and was accepted into the New Jersey Youth Symphony Preparatory Orchestra. In addition to excelling musically, Tuffnell also earned accolades for athletic achievement in soccer and basketball. After two years at Ridge High School, Tuffnell transferred to the private boarding school Blair Academy, where he earned more athletic accolades. After graduation from Blair in 1993, Tuffnell attended Loyola College in Maryland on an academic and athletic scholarship. At Loyola, Tuffnell earned four varsity letters in Division I Men's Soccer, serving as captain in his senior year before graduated in 1997 with a B.A. in Creative Writing and History.
