ATTENTION ALL LOCAL DJS, PRODUCERS, BAND MEMBERS, ARTISTS, FASHIONISTAS!
The world's brightest undiscovered musical talent will plug into the 10th Red Bull Music Academy (RBMA) in Barcelona later this year - but before we all head off to Spain, why not join us for a special network and Vibe/Red Bull Music Academy cocktail hour at Push Ultralounge in St Pete.
A mix of local and international talents will be on hand and performing.
Special guest Daz-I-Kue (http://www.myspace.com/dazikue) of London based Bugz in the Attic crew will be performing and on hand discussing various subjects about his experiences in the music industry as a remixer/dj/producer.
His credits in the past have ranged from labels as diverse as Sonar Kollectiv, Blue Note, Om Records, Ubiquity, Compost, to Giant Step. Not to mention he is part of the legendary UK soundsystem/producers Bugz in the Attic, known for their broken beat style of productions & remixes.

We are looking for like-minded aspiring musicians, dj's, producers, singers, engineers to join us for a short networking session and discussion about the Red Bull Music Academy and to meet other local open minded talents as well. Share some ideas and make some new connections. We will begin at 8pm. If You've recieved this then Stop on By.
As for the main event, the Red Bull Music Academy will see 60 beat makers and selectors gather in Barcelona to pick up ideas and exchange information with some of the most happening music makers of all ages and persuasions.
From funk to folk, rock to rap, Barcelona will be jumping for days and nights as the champions of each genre explain what they do and why they do it, while at the same time being able to showcase their talents using some of the best equipment and recording facilities around.

Want to be there?
To have a chance of being with us in the Catalan city, applicants should download the application form from Red Bull Music Academy and send the completed questionnaire and a mix-CD of his or her own music with a current photo before the deadline day on May 5, 2008.
Applicants will learn by July 7, 2008 whether or not they have been successful in being invited to Barcelona where flights and accommodation will be taken care of by the Red Bull Music Academy for the selected terms of (September 21 - October 3, 2008) or (October 12-24, 2008).
