Hey you (yes you good looking!),

Our brand new song 'Oh, Todd' has just been uploaded and is streaming as we speak!! If you want to take it home with you, the mp3 can be downloaded from http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?dljj4zyei02

'Oh, Todd' was recorded in Sydney by Jorden Brebach (Dappled Cities, The Church) and mastered by William Bowden in August. Why wait when you can hear it now?!!

In other exciting news, we have just been added to the Stonefest '09 bill. We'll be playing alongside The Living End, Frenzal Rhomb, Josh Pyke and many more on October 31 at University of Canberra. Madness! Sheer madness.

Lots of love and see you all very soon!

Hey y'all,

It's been a crazy few weeks in Hancock history. We launched our debut 7" vinyl to a PACKED Transit bar a couple of weeks ago - thanks to everyone who came and seethed in the sweaty people pit. And an especially big thanks to those that bought our t-shirts and vinyl (who would have thought there were so many people still overcome by the power of the mighty black wax disc! We're talking younguns here too, not just our parents ).

Following a quick trip up and back to Sydney's historic Annandale Hotel a week later, our sticksman Tom was rushed to hospital with acute appendicitis. The docs swiftly removed the pesky (and biologically useless) little nugget but ordered him not to partake in any physical exercise for a few weeks, which means we'll be laying low until the end of June. We took some photos of him in his sick bed which may or may not make their way to this very forum, so stay tuned if you want to see Tom's cleany shaven belly.

Either way, fear not! We'll be making a triumphant return supporting triple j Unearthed high winners Tom Ugly at Transit on July 16, followed by our debut performance at Oxford Art Factory in Sydney the following night with the Decorated Generals. That'll be followed by more shows still, and .. a trip back to the studio to record some brand new stuff!

I can't wait! I hope you can't too...

See you soon x
