"SHOTS IN THE DARK" COMES TO SHOTGUN REVIEWS

Chicago, IL (March 20, 2007) – The co-hosts of "Shots in the Dark" are proud to announce the formation of their new show, which will formally launch on Saturday, April 7th on Shotgun Reviews. Comprised of Vince Scalabrino, Lucas Siegel, Janelle Siegel, John Stvan, Steve Scalabrino, and the questionable character The Viceroy, the show focuses on "geek culture," especially video games, comic books, and anime. The show will not only discuss current events in geek culture, it will also feature guests from the many genres within that culture, as well as "Shotgun Blasts," mini-segments from other regular contributors of Shotgun Reviews.

The cast of "Shots in the Dark" has a great deal of experience under its belt. Not only is every member a seasoned radio host, they all bring their own unique expertise to the table. The cast boasts a video game designer, an aspiring comic book writer, and an otaku, among the many talents honed by the "Shots in the Dark" crew. Once a team brought together by a love of video games, they have now branched out into the many areas they know and love. In their past exploits they have entertained such amazing guests as Mike Marts, Senior Editor of DC Comics, nerdcore rappers MC Lars and MC Chris, comic book writers Peter David and Jeff Amano, and Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon.

Joining the Shotgun Reviews team gives the "SitD" group a great outlet for their geek talk. Shotgun Reviews has been in existence for 8 years, covering pretty much everything from music to anime, TV to comic books, and everything between and beyond!. Shotgun Reviews also produces a weekly column called "Best Shots" for the popular comic news site Newsarama. The combination of the formidable forces of Shotgun Reviews and "Shots in the Dark" makes for explosive results.
