Haha, after the faux-blog i felt bad for getting everyones hopes up...lol, only not so much. So this week was pretty fly, aside from me accidentally leaving my window open and dying of coldnaucity this morning. Night air hates me. Anywho, on thursday I was bored so i went to walmart--you know youre in ohio when you epitomize walmart with something to do--anywho, spent a couple hours in the fabric section, found some rad red crushed/faux silk/polyester stuff for 4 dollars a yard--i didnt buy it, but I decided it was the fabric im going to use for my Spain-inspired gown for the Beaux Arts Ball Fashion Show on Oct. 12...yeah the theme is culture shock....my dress has an overall ambiguous inspiration--stemming from flamenco and arabic basis....because the Moors invaded spain if you weren't paying attention to Spanish History....anywho, its fly....I bought like 6 yards of practice fabric and 2 new patterns....although i was tempted to buy this epic 18th century costume....it was so accurate, i was impressed...ill buy it later, maybe halloween?...Anywho, I was still bored after walmart [shocker!] and I went on to the other bus to target...which i had never been on cuz, lets face it, taget is expensive and lame...but i get on the bus in spite of myself....and IT WAS AWESOME! Not target, but the fact that there was a Great Clips, Sally Beauty, Kohls, Macys, Claires....and BIG lOtS!!!! I love big lots....no, i seriously do....its unhealthy. I still havent checked it out yet, but yesterday me and my friend Brandy went to Claires [15 for $5 sale!] and Sallys and Target....where i wasted my gift cards on "The Office Merchandise"....my favorite things i bought was this dunder mifflin coffee mug, an I love Jim mousepad and memo board, a dwight notepad, and a package of pencils with their crazy quotes on them. MmmmMMMmm dollar section. I also got a couple shirts, but nothing spectacular...again, Target is overpriced and lame. I still have like $15 of gift card to spend there, so I'll save it for when they have a decent sale...i wont hold my breath. New roomate should be movin in next week...shes fly, we have literally 6 out of 7 classes together so we'll be able to mesh well. And let's face it, i'm pretty awesome. I'll admit, one day this week I fell into the College Fashion category...I'm ashamed, lol. I was so lazy one morning...after a group of morons under my window felt the need to be "cool" and sing their hippie crap music to some guy's a-CRAP-stic guitar...if you havent seen my Dave Matthews PSA on youtube, you should to understand how i feel about them [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xETREX3eFGs], I put on my Cathedral uniform and a hoodie and some flipflops and a bandana....lol, tres college chic, BaRf! Anywho, next time Crap Matthews decides to have an interactive show under my window, i'll have to blast something fueled by ramen, lol...haha i sound like mom.
