Harper's Island is coming to CBS on this Thursday April 9th. In conjunction with the people behind the show, TheTwoCents is having a "Scariest Place" contest.
It's simple! Just tell us, in a quick blurb, the scariest place you've ever been to. Was it down right spooky-haunted, or just a bit creepy? Did you like the fact that it was scary?
Email it to HarpersIsland@TheTwoCents.com and you're entered!
You can simply tell us the place or you can elaborate and tell us why it was scary to you! One week after the premiere (April 16th) we will pick 3 entries at random to win one of the following (pictured):
(1) Men’s 100% cotton vintage soft t-shirt w/ Harper’s Island logo & premiere date (color: gray) (1) Women’s 100% cotton vintage soft t-shirt w/ Harper’s Island logo & premiere date (color: purple) (1) Harper’s Island poster (11” x 17”)
It's easy right? Here's what you need to do:
- Visit TheTwoCents.com to read the official rules. - Email HarpersIsland@thetwocents.com with your entry. - Watch the April 9th premiere of Harper's Island on CBS at 10:00PM EST. - Come back to TheTwoCents.com on April 16th to see the announcement of winners.
Good luck and enjoy the show!

Entertainment Weekly's guru of gossip, Ausiello, has reported today that what we all feared has happened. Steve Carell seems to be on the way out of The Office. "NBC sources are confirming to me that Mr. 40-Year-Old Virgin, has opted out of the rest of his contract with the show. The source also mentions that we have already met his replacement. Andy Buckley, who plays CFO David Wallace has had more of a presence on the show because it was apparently a test to see how audiences reacted to him." To read more details, go to EW by clicking HERE. What do you think about this? Will this drastically change the show? Leave your TwoCents below.

...Tricia Helfer, ActorYou may know her as Six... or Caprica, or Gina, or Shelly, or Natalie... and that’s just on one show! Tricia Helfer took time out of her busy schedule to answer our questions about the end of Battlestar Galactica and her new beginnings on Burn Notice and Chuck. Don’t worry, we made it out alive. Question: How have you managed your career jump, from being discovered as a model in Alberta to Battlestar Galactica and Burn Notice and Chuck? Continue Reading... [photo: SciFi.com]

...Joss Whedon, CreatorMany hearts (mine included) skip a beat at the mere mention of the name “Joss Whedon.” An Emmy and Academy Award nominee, Whedon is one of Hollywood’s top talents, scripting several hit films and creating one of television’s most critically praised shows, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. After the cult success of Buffy, other mediums of entertainment were Whedonized. He is an accomplished composer, the creator behind several Dark Horse Comics graphic novels, and even the mastermind of the Internet sensation Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. It seems everything he touches turns to geeky-fan gold. TheTwoCents had a chance to sit down with Mr. Whedon to chat about his next adventure: Dollhouse. Question: Can you tell us a little bit about the genesis of Dollhouse? What got you thinking about these characters in this world? Continue Reading... [photo: FOX.com]

Hello!
TheTwoCents.com is working on a new look, and as a part of it, we want a new slick looking professional logo.
Are you good with graphic design? Are you bored? Are you willing to hand over your design for exclusive use on TTC and it's spin-off sites? Are you willing to do it as a volunteer (yeah, we have no money)?
Then this could be for you!
We only ask you use completely unique items. Don't google a TV and use one from another site - as it won't then be exclusive for us. We need to use royalty free designs.
We will put the designs up on the site for fan feedback, as well as going to our staff for feedback.
If you're interested, simply email me through the link on our site at www.TheTwoCents.com
Thanks!

Current mood: cooky/wacky
Do you like to laugh? Yeah, me too! Who better to make you laugh than the woman who let us all know that she was "F^%&ing Matt Damon"?! Comedy Central is releasing The Sarah Silverman Project - Season 2 on DVD this week and we have a copy for some lucky reader of TheTwoCents! I've seen the DVD and with the episodes that include a Dungeons and Dragons game that's been going for 20 years, Sarah switching races, dating God and going to Mexico - you can't help but laugh. Season 1 was a hit and Season 2 will tickle your funny bone yet again. So, do you want the DVD? It's simple - you just need to email us at Silverman@TheTwoCents.com and describe (in 500 words or less) which person from history or from fiction that YOU would want to date and why! The staff of TheTwoCents will review the best submissions and will post our favorite three for the readers of TTC to vote for the winner. That winner will receive the DVD set! Simple right? Well - check out the rules listed in the comments and send in your submission! Good luck!
