Chicago Music Project is teaming up with Moonshine Restaurant and Jameson to bring to you Chicago's only local music industry night - INTERVENTION.

INTERVENTION is a weekly event that will be taking place every Sunday that will showcase Chicago music of all genres. We, at Chicago Music Project, feel that there is no singular location where artists of all music can come together, network, listen to each other's music (dare we even suggest create collaborations?) and support the Chicago music scene.

INTERVENTION will feature:

* DRINK AND FOOD SPECIALS (cheap beer and inexpensive eats)
* LIVE ACTS (acoustic sets, MC sets, live synthetic music)
* LIVE ART (canvas painting)
* MUSIC VIDEOS! INTERVENTION will be playing music videos, both new and old (from old smashing pumpkins videos, common videos, to new videos of the jai alai savants, visual, kid static and more.
* merchandising area (bands can sign up to rent an area -for free -to cell CDs, T-Shirts and other merchandise)
* oh, and you should dance your ass off when our special guest DJs start spinning their favorites and yours.
