A new album is in the works featuring the return of Nick Lanaro on bass, album artwork by Sarah Felgs of the Recroom, a reworking of the MF classic 'Let's Get Drunk' and some serious riffage. 

Its been a sad week on the MF front with the closing of the Velevet Elvis here in Oshawa. There really aren't any venues we'd prefer to play, we thank the wonderful Liisa for all her hard work in the last 5 years bringing quality original music to Oshawa and providing a great place to hang out.

In other news, Rocket From Infinity is in the post-production stages and is preapring to take off.

Gliding through the stars guided only by a bleak light, the path has been chosen and the birds take flight. A muscle flexed daydream shows off a newfound might, its time to be wise and fight for our rights. Please welcome one Clark Bent to harken the night, and let the muse grab hold and show you the sights.

The Micronite Filters announce "Rocket From Infinity" due the first quarter of 2008 on Get Bent Records.

While i'm literally on the fritz, counting down the hours to a big party with live music, lots of drunken italians, some sshhfifty and a few vows thrown in, i'm distracting myself by working on some sshhtuff. So just thought I'd let you all know that we'll be launching our very own home-made record label this summer.
